At least the rain means we don’t need to water as much (other than pots). Which is great, because this years watering combined with price increases has doubled our water bill

I think he's about 10 bricks inLooked out the window to see how the bricky is getting on rebuilding a wall.
What is your trick to finishing the caulk line? lick finger? spray bottle?Nice work on th different steps for that bed above
When I was a kid I had similar ones, fine for me, but my pal was mega tall and always slipping off.
Today I adjusted some guttering that the guttering guys did wrong, while on the flat roof resealed some of the windows at the sides.
Oh and recaulked some skirting, some it had cracked in one of the rooms.
TLD an afternoon using the caulking gun doing various things.
Hah! I find silicone tools don't get it right, or at least I'm hopeless with the..What is your trick to finishing the caulk line? lick finger? spray bottle?
Biggest help I found is using less of it in the first place. I find people use way more than actually needed, so there is a lot of seepage when trying to get a nice finish on it.What is your trick to finishing the caulk line? lick finger? spray bottle?
So will it be changing constantly?Fitted a COB strip to the rear of our new beds headboard.
Might set it up to change colours and directions when the OH snores![]()
Managed half a man job today. Got the old kitchen tap out with some effort as super tight in space as it’s over a join in the cupboard below.
Realised new tap had female connections as did the pipe work so grabbed some 3/8 couplers from screwfix and a 1/2 reducer as the new tap said it was 3/8.
Get home and nope, taps also 1/2 despite what the manual says it is. Screw fix didn’t have the 1/2 so will be picking it up tomorrow at some point.
Still got the new tap into the sink, also a ball ache as the new one had a screw on coupler for the mount which in this tight spot took about 30 mins to get it tightened on.
I certainly do approve, seems like just the right amount of man job work for a dayFront door was catching, got someone to hold the door up slightly whilst I unscrewed then rescrewed the hinge screws.
Job done.
That's plenty of DIY for the day, I'm sure @tonys approves
On a Sunday too! Madness!I certainly do approve, seems like just the right amount of man job work for a day![]()
