Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

I did the second best thing and bought apld this morning after good earnings, the better thing to do would have been to keep them from before but I couldn't call it.
Up 38 percent now , personally up 18 percent

Except everyone else buys the shares, causes a spike and then dumps it for a bit of quick profit.

Same thing happens every time Nvidia buy a company.
Why would anyone buy a share above the company sale price? It never happens you are just making stuff up now. Even if it slightly went above the sale price it certainly wouldnt dump as there is a date and a price set for the company sale. Some people will cash out a bit below the offer price to get the money sooner.

Indeed. We have seen so many takeovers in the UK market recently, what happens is the price spikes to the takeover price and that is that really.

I might not look at Trading 212 for a week, It's already ugly this morning and going to be heartbreaking at 14:30 today....

Why did't I sell two weeks ago when it was all too good to be true

Not exposed much to US tech at the moment so not seeing much red (well, just Apple and Intel which are cancelling each other out atm). Mostly just in a small selection of dividend stocks and ETFs.

Bit gutted that ATAI and CMPS have continued their tear, but that sector is entirely hype/fomo driven at the moment so happy getting an and out on the swings. I did make a quick 15% on a 2-day ATAI trade. It's like my lucky stock, whenever I buy, the next day there's a bounce! Wish all trading was that easy :D
