Radioactive wasps - what are they not telling us?

"A radioactive wasp nest with radiation levels ten times of what is allowed"

Come on now wasps you shouldn't fly 10 times over the limit.

Who knew that we have certain levels a wasps nest can be radioactive.... but Honestly though there are no nuclear waste leaks in the area.... Move along now.

had a mate who as a kid got stung right on the ring piece.....wasp had seemingly flown up the leg of his shorts during a game of footy, at some point he went to bend down for something (maybe pick the ball up for a throw in, can't remember now) and then collapsed screaming. we found it hilarious, well once the teacher had managed to get him to explain what had happened.....he did not. he still doesn't like talking about nearly 40 years later

I was certainly stung on my scalp at the office when I scratched my head. I was certainly taken into hospital three days later and put on an antibiotic drip. The two incidents may or may not be connected but I consider it probable.

Just how radioactive are wasp nests permitted to be, and who makes that decision? Personally I'd be in favour of zero being the limit of radioactive wasps allowed...
