Nobody has confirmed what the formal bid was have they? Just that they were considering a bid of £120m - which doesn't seem like a lowball offer.
SSN saying £110m + 10m add ons.
Rumours that the next bid will actually be lower.

Paul Joyce has said it was under £120m but nobody is reporting a concrete figure. It could all be part of the dance and this is all PR now with Newcastle not wanting to be seen to have rolled over.Nobody has confirmed what the formal bid was have they? What?A lower fee with higher add-ons or staggered payments would do Newcastle a favour.
What?
Selling clubs wouldn't have any idea of the payment terms until Newcastle release their accounts in 7-9 months time. Newcastle probably already have that problem too. The one thing Saudi can do within PSR is provide Newcastle with cash to pay fees up front and selling clubs will pushing hard for that.I assume due to selling clubs not seeing the huge cash influx and ramping up prices, but even if that is what he means it's still madness.
Sorry to disappoint but he's full of **** Bigpig.

Oh I know. I suspect he thinks there's some PSR advantage or something. There isn't of course but I'm intrigued what he thinks.Just clarifying here that i was trying to understand/explain the other posters thought process. In no way shape or form did i agree with it![]()
Not a chance when Manu are offering £300k a weekSurely with that sort of money you can persuade Sesko to join your cause.
Wrong thread?Good. Didn't want to be included in that.
We had a new FD at work a few months ago who noticed a load of issues in some reports. He made a casual comment to my boss about who rolled the files forward and was told i did it. She mentioned it a week later at which i pointed out i was busy and delegated it out.
I'm 99% sure i've convinced him i'm not a useless at my job by now so am always conscious!
Sesko is a strange one. His agent is a **** and ****** up his move to Arsenal. He’s open to both clubs but favours Manu.Surely with that sort of money you can persuade Sesko to join your cause.

Amorim doesn’t want Sesko and wants Watkins. Manu board wants Sesko but can’t afford him!!

Just every report I’ve seen state the asking price is a stumbling block and trying to do player and cash deals. Who knows!!Surely Newcastle will have to bite the bullet and start paying big wages if they want to be a top club?
The club can afford him without any sales, apparently. Although sales are inevitable (hopefully, anyway).
