I did the playtest over the weekend, it was too short to really draw any conclusions. At the moment it plays like the first few levels of every other arpg which is not necessarily a bad thing but there's no way to tell how it will pan out. It ran perfectly fine other than some stutter when it first loaded up.
 
I think the my main takeaway was that it felt like Titan Quest, it had captured the same kind of vibe. The skills looked a bit basic at a glance, but the modifiers you can tack on should mix it up a bit, especially when all of the classes are opened up to try and better gear options become available. They were very hit and miss though, some skills felt way better to use than others, probably not helped by how poor the itemisation was from the brief snippet available. I would have hoped they might jazz up the drop rates but as above it's hard to judge as you're pretty much getting starter area gear. I imagine the beast charms, relic shards will make it in as early game options, or would hope so as they appeared to be absent.

Early access at the end of the year, I think it might be one to wait until we see how much is included first. I hope they do a decent job though, it would be nice to have another single player focused experience among the new crop of league focused games.
 
What is "single player”?

Sad times, had loads of fun playing the first one coop with a few mates (very messy with the with the 4x spawn mod as well).

Hoping they add multiplayer at some point, but going to give it a miss till then

I heard that its already got co-op in it, at least the thread I saw asking if early access had co-op said yes.
 
Perfect timing as just finished off the current PoE league so was looking for something else to play. I really enjoyed the first one so will probably give this a go.

I will have to see how long it takes me, the average on the steam forums is a consensus of around 10 hours to do everything, so if Raxx is taking less than half that time he must be either skipping or missing stuff, or skipping all the dialog and lore etc and just rushing it.
