Is it my imagination or does Charles always seem to perform better when Lewis has a ‘mare :o

Great job for the pole, but I can’t imagine he’s gonna to keep those McLarens behind him unless they’re fighting each other massively over the whole first stint.
 
Wow, Lewis can be dramatic when things are going badly but I don't think I've ever seen him so unhappy.

Ferrari are just a bad team to be a part of unless you can speak Italian and have been like that for donkeys with exception of the time they bought the entire Benetton back room staff.

Aston already seeing the benefit of Newey or just a bit of luck? Hungary always has a habit of producing weird results.
 
Where did that come from for LeClerc?! I’d love to see him hold on to it but struggle to see it happening with the McLarens so close.

As for Hamilton, it’s not that bad. Sure it looks bad when you compare pole to 12th but he was only 0.2 slower in Q2. Yes, it’s slower than LeClerc and it’s a pattern but the way some of you go on, you make it sound like he’s suddenly a back marker driver.

This is the 3rd track he loves (COTA and Canada others) and does amazing a, but failed to do so this year

This maybe just a transition year, and Ferrari pull something out

Rumour mill is Mercedes already has the best engine for 2026, however….

It feels to me that Leclerc wasn't expecting P1, so wasn't under pressure of trying too hard to push for it, possibly keeping the tyres in better shape and less mistakes.
 
Wow, two extremes. Lewis doesn't make Q3 and Leclerc makes P1. Yeah, never seen Lewis so downbeat as in that interview. He's admitted it's not the car so who knows what's wrong, but clearly he's lost his mojo for now.
 
Could we see the unthinkable and Lewis rejoins Mercedes next year?!? Fed up with Ferrari, toto misses him etc!

Thing is, much as Toto probably wants Lewis back, I imagine it would be awkward for him to let Antonelli go just yet, unless he decides to be completely ruthless.
 
Leclerc getting pole is all very fine but at the end of the day what has he achieved for Ferrari?
One pole doesn’t really change anything.

No idea what he was thinking going to Ferrari. It don't know if I'd go so far to say it's tainted his career but I don't see the gain.

Ferrari have been poor on strategy for years. And never looked like a good vet for a WDC.

I know Ferrari is a dream for many.. And maybe (probably) I don't get it as I'm not an f1 driver.. But I don't get it! :D
