SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY

Hopefully 2026 sounds better for marvel/disney, much bigger branded named superheros.

Not sure if there lower budget with lesser names approach is going to work well.

Other way round for me. Really concerned about Bernthal, as I find him a sort of one trick pony and Punisher feels like a real stepdown compared to the other MCU big hitter Spider-Man usually gets paired with. Probably gonna be the lowest grossing Spider-Man MCU title.

Coincidentally they are both together in The Odyssey as well.

I haven't read the comics but apparently there is a good storyline with Punisher and Spiderman? I'm more interested in who Sadie Sink is going to be playing. Happy to hear that MJ and Ned are back too.

To be honest I'd rather have a visceral TV show or movie with Bernthal that kept itself separate from the MCU.

I noted that they were together in The Odyssey, I just wish Holland wasn't in it. :p I really don't like him as an actor, he has the personality of a soggy paper bag and zero screen presence. I still think that Garfield is the best of the live action Spiderman iterations, he was done dirty with the scripts but was excellent in the role. Obviously I'm in a minority in that regard as Holland seems to be a big draw for most in the role.

Inevitably I will end up watching Daredevil Born Again (S1) and the forthcoming S2 and the upcoming Punisher series now, just cos they are linking it to Brand New Day.

All I see is Shane from The Walking Dead, with a weapons upgrade.

I haven't read either but watched the 90s Spiderman. There was a point punisher was after Spiderman who was also happened to be mutating. Was really good.
