Well worth the upgrade over my 4070Ti though. That 4GB extra vram has come in handy a lot!
Made **** all difference in anything I have been playing. But at least it got the AMD boys of my back

This is why I was keen to get it sooner rather than later, should get a good bit of gaming out of it. It seems expensive on paper, then you realise how expensive my wife is and it pales in comparison. It’s also pretty much my only hobby these days.
There’s something about getting home on a Friday, wife is out, kicking back with a beer and gaming into the night.

Yeppp. Wondered why some games were using 98% GPU too when they didn't warrant it. Tbh did pretty well at 60% or whatever it was on + undervolt!
Mine hates shopping or spending money for that matter. Instead, she loves making it and then to sit and play games on Xbox or Switch 2. And so, she wouldn't say a word nowadays if I would go and buy few k expensive GPU. This actually makes it much harder to justify - there's no rebellion in it, just pure calculation. And then I never felt a need I need anything even a bit faster than 4090, so far - I might stay with it till it physically dies (I am still confident it's power port will melt eventually
). And then we'll see.
