I bet he comes back after the summer break and wins 4 races in a row
I hope he can get something positive in the second half of the season. Get some momentum to carry into the new regulations. Despite not liking Vettel at the height of his domination at Red Bull, I still find it sad to see him tail off with Ferrari and then AM at the end of his career. I don't want to see the same for Hamilton, even if he doesn't get an 8th title. He deserves something better than whatever he is going through now to end his career on.

Hamilton has always been weak mentally.
Lmfao... And there it is...ever single *** If you must swear, you must fully star it, stop deliberately trying to get around the filter *** year we get this utter .

And with things for him right now outside of racing he's got plenty on his mind.

Everyone has plenty on their mind and plenty in this world have far more hardships than he has but they get on with it. He has had the best car on the grid for close to a decade and now he has a real tough season and he buckles. Walking around like he has been shot. Never saw Button for example feeling sorry for himself when he was a back marker at Honda. He just got on with it.

Alonso is another one that comes to mind. Absolute terrible luck for years but still has the passion to race and fight.

Everyone else isn't measure by 100th of a second live on TV all the time.
And Jenson knew the expectation of the team. That a very different place mentally.
Annoyed at himself for a poor show vs always been mentally weak for as long as he's raced against the drivers he's faced at different time over his career is just an utterly stupid thing to say.

Good race at the end - fantastic race from Norris!

What I didn’t like about the end of race interviews…..Lando was a gent and congratulated Oscar on a good race, and Oscar just avoided saying it, you could tell - says anything but well done to Norris, not very sportsman like - why I dislike him, but i like Norris as he’s just a nicer guy.

Even if the positions were reversed, Norris would still congratulate Oscar, but Oscar wouldn’t even if he won. ****

I think there's a number of things in play here, and I say this as a Ferrari fan for the past 30 years:

1) Lewis has tried to change dynamics and tried to take this up to the top dogs and he's basically been put in his place.
2) The car looks like it may be capable of winning a race this season at certain tracks if they can get their act together (the race team)
3) The problem with (2) is if they can win a race, it's most likely going to be Leclerc doing so based on the current stats.
4) Unfortunately Lewis' prime days are beyond him and it'll take a super dominant car like the McLarens are this season to even get a sniff of a podium for him. He was beat quite comfortably by GR last season so even then it would take something going bad for Leclerc.

With all that said, let's see what happens in the 2nd half of the season, would love to see him win a race in red.

It would seem though that Lewis and Leclerc very much know where Ferrari are nearly always wrong. Ferrari need to sort the team out and stop the old heads at the top from having any say.

The same alonso that was trying to bribe the McClaren mechanics when Lewis was whipping him? That alonso that cried about not getting the same car etc etc?
And? Bro isn’t sulking and constantly underperforming. Alonso might complain be he gets on with it and still puts in a strong performance relative to his team.

Makes you wonder how much more dominant that Merc era could’ve been with a stronger driver.

I agree with that, Leclerc been on about this for years now but there seems to be some major stubbornness at the top for pushing through the change needed
