The fact they need to ask why it's important angers me. How is it not obvious

If they surprise us with an actual server browser i'll be happy as a pig in poop.
I fairness to Miss Alexia she asks from a good place and explains later that what they have does most of these things.

She ain't going to bed you mate :p

Yeah it's good she is asking the question but I wish, and forgive me if iv'e missed her mention it, she would just come out with the reason server browsers were dropped is due to SBMM.

Of course they do.. at this point most of it will be built into the engine to do... the community servers being back would be great!

The technology part was a joke about some of the bs they spouted about 2042 and Bfv. it basically became a meme on reddit about them not being able to do this or that due to not having the tech.

I'm tentative with the new BF after seeing how it's all fallen a bit flat over the years. BF2 and Bad Company 2 were the best I've played in the series, but hopefully this can bring it back around. Got access from the 7th, so will hopefully get chance to dive in that day.

This probably shouldn't surprise anyone...

300+fps? Good lord, I dont think I'll be needing that sort of fps anytime soon in a game. I'd settle for a nice peaceful 175fps :)
Same. I have a 240Hz monitor but I'd be happy with anything over 60+ on minimums. I'm going to get demolished regardless but at least I'll be demolished at 60+fps

Games like BF really make me torn between using my 4k 240hz OLED monitor or my 300hz 1080p monitor...

It'll look so pretty on the OLED at 4k - but no chance I'm going to push above 140/150fps - whereas it's so lovely playing games at 300fps if you can regularly sit around that number.

I was expecting a 2026 release... currently broke... what would be the most cost effective upgrade(s) for my system below? 5600X to 5800X3D and/or 3070Ti 8GB to 5060Ti 16GB (for DLSS 4)? What do you reckon, I'm a bit out of the loop.

5600X
360mm Rad
B450 Tomahawk Max
3070 Ti 8GB
32GB DDR4
1440p IPS 165Hz
Nvme storage
