Who is it who says "Ladies and Gentlemen"...

Would have been difficult seeing as the J5 LP is barely 8 years old [/pedant]
So? They formed over 12 years ago.

I thought they'd been around longer than they have though anyway. But I didn't even think they were still going 10 years ago, never mind now.

Aimed at the respondee earlier too, I wasn't saying their music was immature, I was just saying I got bored of it some time ago and stopped listening to them because, well, I outgrew it. Like some people outgrow comics and some don't...

Hate to do this, but...

No, Sir, you are wrong! Jurassic5 sprung up in '95 and the J5 EP was released in '97. I find it hard to believe that they'd been heard of outside of the US until well after the release of the EP.

It was '93 they formed actually :) They formed as a union of 2 separate groups known Unity Committee and Rebels of Rhythm.

Unlucky :)

Which you just found in the first sentence of Wikipedia and swapped the two groups around ;) This isn't a competition for who knew them first you know.

And if you'd read a little further down you've seen that they didn't debut until '95. So, unless you were kicking around the mean streets of LA back when you were still in short trousers, it would've been hard for you to find them passe 12 years ago!

Shall we call it a day, or do you want to step outside so we can whack each other with our handbags some more? ;)

If you read the second line I actually said that I thought they'd been around longer. Meaning I'd looked it up. Its not like I was saying I knew they formed in 1993. I've already explained I don't right like 'em anyway.

You put your handbag away, its not big enough for this fight ;)

...in the current Hip-Hop songs?

I would like to know so that I can fornicate him with a fencepost. I'm not a massive fan of Hip-Hop, but the line seems to be randomly inserted into every Ciara/Pharrel/new B.I.G song made. Each time it is sucessful in obliterating any hopes of me liking it.

For those who are wondering what I'm talking about, take a constipated sheep, make it bleat out the words "Ladies and Gentlemen", and insert into new hip hop song at an interval of roughly every 30 seconds.

Argh.

ill culinary behaviour es classique! *chefs kiss*

J5 also excellente'

Ill Culinary Behaviour is only topped by Vicious Battle Raps.

One of my claims to fame (I have a few lol) I gave Charlie 2Na and Akil a doobie when they did a show in Bristol. You could spot 2Na a mile off. We were waiting on College Green and saw this massive dude walking up park street. Ran over and accosted them had a few photos then they asked, so we obliged. Then when performing on stage they kept pointing and smiling at my group of friends. I could've died happy that night.

Edit: In relation to the crazy necro-bump. Whenever I hear "Ladies and Gentlemen.." My mind instantly goes to "I go on and on and on and"

Not sure if serious.
That's the start to Limp Bizkit's album, Chocolate Starfish and The Hotdog Flavoured Water.

But going back to the OP, no idea what they're talking about. Couldn't see any example tracks with the sound in through the thread.
