agreed, though they could be sitting back waiting to see where RB settle on an actual fee before making a firm offer/walking away officially. i reckon he'd be a worthwhile risk but not if it means we can't sign a cm/dm as we're still prone to getting rinsed in the middle of the park as things currently stand.I think we'd have made a move by now.
WhaaaatBild in Germany are reporting we've put in a bid totalling €85m for Sesko. No idea how reliable the person reporting it is, but we shall see...
For £100m it better be a bloody good tapeSesko, Lies and Videotapes
I guess it’s to do with the payment plans for our recent signings and the few meagre incoming from sale ons we’ve had.Just goes to show that @BaZ87 was right when he called out the BS from The Rat when he claimed they had no money

Ooo, a proper bidding war
We're going to look stupid if Newcastle get him...
I think he's more of a known quantity than the likes of Hojlund and Zirkzee were, but of course it's still a significant gamble. I think there's something about him though.
If we can also get a midfielder then I'd be pretty happy. Doesn't need to be anyone flashy, just someone solid.
Yep, I always thought that really, Ratcliffe was just making excuses to sack people, as very wealthy people often do.
Payment plans aren't new - Utd have been doing it for years and owe hundreds of millions to other clubs. Jim was talking out his backside trying to justify sacking the tea lady and you didn't need to wait for Utd to blow £200m again like they do every summer to see that. Utd literally produce quarterly accounts in which they confirmed there was no liquidity issue for the next 12 months.I guess it’s to do with the payment plans for our recent signings and the few meagre incoming from sale ons we’ve had.
