Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

Yeah. I think the issue is simply that we need to sell and move players on and thats not happening. We thought we could shift Garnacho, Sancho, Antony and Rashford and none of them have really got anywhere near the door. Sancho might be interesting Juventus but they want to pay about £6m for him + some bonuses.
As Micky from snatch says, "it's a fair deal, take it!"

The only silver lining in this absolutely tragic transfer window from us is that we still have one of the best strikers in Isak.

Whether he is happy or not, I doubt he’d down tools completely. He has burnt bridges but everyone will have to just accept it and be professional, he will have to crack on with us for another year and score a load of goals again.

ultimately, we will still have the best striker in the league.

I doubt the owners that are divvy to sell Isak without a “decent” replacement.

Given my expertise in all things Sesko, having watched extensive highlight montages on YouTube of other self appointed experts and been an avid fan of RB Leipzig for the last two weeks, I welcome this move if it comes off !!!

Look at Sancho's numbers at Dortmund before he came to us. I am very worried about this transfer. Not to mention the German League is 3rd rate now. Also how many times have we bought from the German league for them only to end up absolutely pants!

To be fair that last statement is equally applicable to Spain, Italy, France, Portugal and virtually every other country in the world for how much we've broken players

Hmmm I can see why some of our fan base has this sentiment about the German league.

Sancho I agree with, he has been a dud and I put that down to the previous regime. The decision was propbably made with a commercial angle first for 'young, exciting, English Talent'. He had the skill but his work ethic and attitude was **** Poor. First official interview was conducted with a YouTuber, which should tell you all you need to know about him.

Re Sesko, last years numbers look an average season for him but for context, 21 goals last year, both feet and a decent header on him. Also worth considering he was asked to drop deeper last year and RB Leipzig under performed. All the people quoted suggest he is raw, a bit of a freak in that he is tall, Good Pace with good acceleration and good technique but has a very high ceiling, it's down to his own drive, mentality that will define his career.

You get a lot of people on the internet who are supposed experts and spoke to team mates, school mates. By all accounts he is an intelligent guy, level headed and is pretty aware of his own trajectory. e.g. An interview popped where he was asked about joining Manchester United. Sesko was very much YES but not now, I need to develop physically, mentally and take some setbacks on the chin. That was from a few years back.

Personally his style of play is not my kind of player but that said, the market is pretty thin on 9's who are young, athletic, exciting to watch so our options are limited. IF we sign him, will get behind him

Oh I think we all hope he will be a star if he joins but its a lot of money on a big gamble and we have already spent a lot of money on a young striker that didn't work out. I wouldn't be that bothered were it not for the gaping hole in our midfield that is far more important.

Most transfers are a gamble, I would say that Sesko has been around for a while and seems highly rated by pretty much every scouting network out there. The fee looks a lot but look at other similar fees…

His close range finishing needs work, but his speed, dribbling, heading and power are all very good. Cunha and Mbeumo will be able to play off him.

No reason to think we won’t get a midfielder too, I think the club have agreed we need one.
