Jurassic World Rebirth "Scarlett Johansson" woof

Had some free tickets to use up and thought this was probably a good way to spend them..

3/10, boss babe garbage again..

I'm absolutely burnt out after watching several series of The Rookie, with every female character having a character arc that makes them the physically, emotionally and intelligently leading characters with all the male characters symping, weak husks.. So jumping in to this film and my brain just rejected it as so unbelievable that I may need a rest from progressive hollyweird trash for a while to see if I can reset my tolerance levels..

:)

That sounds like how Justice Smith behaved in the 2nd one versus Daniella Pineda - when they're made out to be the same age/part of the same team, but she's always ballsy and better than him at everything, and he's a moaning little wimp! He behaved exactly the same in the Pokemon movie, where the girl he fancied, that rejects him, was the alpha... Pattern emerging?

If you fancy a laugh, read the comments section on the official trailer

Couldn't get in to see this today. Both our odeons and independent booked out all day. Even Deadpool didnt manage that last year.

Reviews aside, seems to be hitting the audience sweet spot.

Looking like a $300m opening worldwide inc the wed thurs previews.

Went yesterday and while it's nowhere near the heights of the original it's a bit better then the last film with the added bonus of Scarlett Johansson in a tight fitting vest.

Yes it's more of the same secret island that's been abandoned where governments have barred people to go but it's not going to be much different is it, I'll give it 5\10 being slightly generous but at least it dropped the cloned human arc.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, even though it was very predictable.

Scarlett's vest is very prominent, not a bad thing, but the big bad dino is quite frankly ridiculous, and I thought Raptors were supposed to be intelligent.

All in all it's worth a watch if you enjoyed the original, but they should just stick to variations of that original without trying to go more outrageous.

Solid jurassic park with nods to original. Never really care about anyone in it and some cri gy dialog something to put on at home as chilli

6.5/10 - worst film so far. All plot points and twists are recycled from previous entries.

Scarlett Johansson is bad in this. No believability as a mercenary and tries too hard with the humour and sexy smirks/smiles. Lincoln Lawyer dad and his crappy family were rubbish. Dinosaur in the finale is rubbish. First 3rd of the film was like The Meg.

Still the middle part was ok when they discover the 2nd Dinosaur and you hear the theme music play.

Not certain I would watch again, and really hope there are new actors if they continue this franchise.

They should just let it die, like the dinosaurs.

Took the kids today who seemed to enjoy it. But it was weak compared to others. Elements didn't make a lot of sense and people frequently made choices that didn't suit sewtting/scene also it tried to land emotional moments it hadn't earnt. Too many characters not well enough written. It looked good, the premise of the plot was solid but it needed to be either or when it came to family and mercs. Choose one and make it work that way some of the attempted moments would have worked, instead we had two sets of characters we didn't care about.

This was utter trash :) - 3/10

I think at this stage I've seen all the JP's now as I've lost track of them. This was the worst alongside Dominion.

Why introduce us to an absolutely pointless, pathetic family? They could have been removed from this and it would have made no difference. The father was a crap one for taking them that far....'in waters where no government would go' but hey lets take my kids that way anyway I mean there's no sea faring nasties yes?

Then lets pick on the main business guy and focus on a tiny moment where some utterly stupid young girl decides to push him and then falls backwards herself and then blames him for not saving her. The writing was so odd here.

The scene with the inflatable dinghy being used next to a Rex...and then the decision to USE IT TO GET AWAY FROM IT. Omg, a Jeep in the first film could barely get away from it and here we have a useless family in a DINGHY trying to paddle away!

Now I know one has to suspend reality a bit when going into these films but the lead scientist falling off a cliff at a massive height, having his fall broken by trees below and then the camera panning to his perfect face with his non-damaged eye glasses had me facepalming.

the scenery looks amazing. SJ wasn’t very likeable and the film was pretty poor. Shame.

Can’t believe we are at the point of mutant dinosaurs.

I’ll take it a step further: I can’t believe we are at a point where we are bored of mutant dinosaurs.

I distinctly remember feeling irritated during the last JW film (at the redundancy of it all), to the point where I was a flat out ‘nope’ at seeing this, same with the tedious ‘live action remakes’. And those dreadful, soulless ‘Illumination’ studios films.

Nope.

Very poor writing and silly plot armour

Snickers, really? Fool also carelessly throws it away. I'm sure he knows protocol and no one saw him?

It appeared Zora and crew went to the island without any detection heck even that stupid family somehow avoided security.

Xavier - I hated that guy instantly, what a lazy dumb clown. The dad seemed to have no backbone, couldn't get the fool to sail through boat. Then the clown offers weed.
Teresa - stupid cow brought that waste of space Xavier then having a go at her dad. She pushed the rich guy, fell and then played victim. How the heck did the spino miss chomping her?
Security - guy came shooting out of nowhere at the spinos then gets eaten for not being alert.

Nina - they just washed ashore surviving spinos, doesn't look around and gets chomped. Just casually unaware lol. Why bother hiding spinos mouth?

Xavier again - how is guy going like a 100 meters for a **** when there could be danger around the corner? It's not like he went for a #2. He should have been chomped.

Teresa again - she pulls the raft across the bridge instead of just directly going on the lake/river. Then she inflated it next to a rex. I'm sorry but the disrespect.

Then they make loud noises and also sail faster than the rex. Someone should have paid the price there, again more disrespect.

Loomis - he was an ok character but I'm sorry how are you falling from so high with no injuries nor even a scratch?

Duncan - how did Drex ignore him and then he suddenly appeared nearly Infront of the escaped boat?

Drex - there should have been more encounters with him, heck attack a mutadon.

Ending. Zora didn't even want to do the mission until she was offered double. Then suddenly she has a change of heart. Don't think Duncan would be happy with that with 4 of his people dead.

Ultimately the family was so annoying, they could have done the film without them.

And show that what they salvaged, was put to use.

Rant over

4.5/10

Did you know there's a spoiler button on here? :P

Maybe his wife wanted kids and he didn't? So taking them on a dangerous holiday was the perfect way out? ;)

Scarlett Johansson runs weird or is it just me...looks weird when she runs.

Movie was trash on all levels .
But will do well for the kids and the parents needing to give the kids their dinosaur fix.
