——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

Had fun playing some matches this morning... only problem I seem to have is my GPU usage is stuck around 30% meaning my FPS never goes over 70-75... running a 14700k and 5080..
For reference I was getting 160fps-ish with a tuned 7800X3D/5080 setup at 4k Ultra w/DLSS Performance setting (a smallish town map), and about 300-320ish with the MFG set to 3x. Didn't max out though, hovered around 95% usage.

They've got this right haven't they?

Ooo that was fun.
It certainly feels like it so far. This feels like a game I can get on with.
It took a few games to get a feel for the movement and gunplay. Its rather satisfying!

I had to crank up mouse sensitivity as default is SOOOOOO SLOW!!! Also move to a lighter mouse. Been a while since I played a fast paced online FPS.

All that said, not completely without issues! I've had a few times when I'm spawn locked for a couple of minutes for no apparent reason. Spotted a couple of small graphical abnormalities and a couple of times the weapon wouldnt show or fire.
All small issues in the grand scheme and its a beta so some issues to be expected, hopefully they will be sorted for launch.

Played for an hour on my lunch break (love WFH days!) and quite enjoyed it.

I had 2 crashes that just completely turned the PC off, which was a bit alarming - never had that before but it seemed to sort itself out.

Usually BF games run terribly until a few months after release but I was getting around ~130fps maxed out without frame gen on my aging 5700X and RX 9070 XT (1440p ultrawide resolution) which seems pretty good.

thats funny, i had one time when it just turned my pc off completely as well though it was actually just looking at the menu yesterday. haven't had any issues today. 9950x3d rx9070xt

Plus, starting from today people can just get it from Twitch by watching 90mins on an eligible stream. Open up a tab, find a stream, mute it and carry on with your browsing.

also mute the tab in the browser and not on the stream itself or it won't work

Any chance you set it on uncapped FPS and your 9070XT is screaming away at 400fps at 100% load on the menu?

Yes, good reminder. I drag the volume slider up on the stream and then right click and mute the tab.

Probably a good thing to expose them more easily.

People sniping you halfway across a map is pretty boring and it's supposed to be a team game, not look at my K : D ratio

So, because a player doesn't want to be sniped, we shouldn't have snipers? Great... Idiotic view

Played it most of this afternoon...

Only cons I have so far are..

Hit's not always registering
RPG's doing very little damage or not firing at all
The mouse acceleration/smoothing feels way off, even with that aiming toggle thing turned off

Also 100% those content creators at the BF6 event had NO recoil, all guns are recoiling for PC users

Just an FYI for 7950x3d and 9950x3d users: You can set the processor to use CCD0 on steam.exe (or ea app exe) in process lasso and BF6 will inherit that. It wasn't automatically doing it on my 9950x3d.
