——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

Anyone hooked a joystick up for the Heli yet? Dug my old sidewinder out but it's dead, wondering if they feel like BF2/3/4?

Also the aiming reticles on the tank/ifv seem buggy, zoom needs multiple clicks to activate, deffo need some work imo.

Just feels like every other battlefield game to me, total cluster****.

Don’t think I’ll ever be able to play shooters with respawning again, zero satisfaction or sense of achievement in killing someone relative to the other shooters I play such as hunt showdown or tarkov where it feels genuinely satisfying to kill someone.

Not really a criticism of this game, just respawn/cannon fodder shooters in general

Codfield 6

I might buy it - but only if they suddenly announce they have faithfully recreated Dragon Valley or something - which obviously isnt going to happen.

First BF I wont have bought since BF2

Just had a few games at last, i like it, will defo be buying it, only wish people played as a team a little more lol but for me time to kill is perfect, you can kill 2 or 3 people when they are stood together with 1 mag which is awesome.

Really hope they dont change the ttk

Didn't an cod exec take over battlefield design, it shows. Another gripe, the vehicles are way to floaty, the tanks act like they are made of paper.

Only played one round but initial thoughts are to is too fast, health seems to regen too fast on its own, I want locked weapon classes, map was way too small and I already hate matching making!
Also have only driven the humvee type vehicle but he felt like crap compared to BF3 and 4, very floaty.

Edit: Just noticed the closed weapon conquest option

Fast regen, low ttk... yup it's COD. Some people might like that but a lot more people want Battlefield.
I can see why they would do it though, statistically the CoD playerbase is much larger than the BF playerbase of even the most successful BF game I think...so if you are looking at the financials, it'd make sense to increase appeal to Codders

I agree. Especially considering how the most recent COD being "free" on gamepass allowed a lot more people to get used to the fast TTK game play style and so transitioning over to BF6 becomes a lot easier. As someone that started on BF first back in the day before arriving on COD, I do still wish that there was still a place for both high and low TTK play styles.

The maps are absolutely ass once again...who is designing these? Becuase if its the same people as the last few games they actually need to be fired.
For me battlefield shines when it's vehicle fights across open maps. Sure some people like the CQB maps, you just need to look at the popularity of Metro and Lockers, but that's not BF, or not the BF I enjoy most. Cairo is the only map I've played so far and it's too much for me.
