Yeah I don't quite understand why the package number is less than the driver version within. But just go off the adrenaline package i.e 25.8.1.

Hard to keep up with what I've tested or not
But seem to be better better memory stability now not sure if new drivers or I've upped fan speeds slightly
Memory temps after minor tweak to fan speeds (still near silent) is only 72-74c max and 2800 seems stable (Samsung memory)
Ivw checked degraded performance in case of error correction and all seems aok

CP2077 FSR4 is in the latest drivers.

I had to go into the game specific setting in the Adrenaline app to enable FSR4 for Cyberpunk 2077 - it showed as an in-game setting option after that.
Pretty much completed my upgrades, just need to replace the PSU and will be happy with this for a few years to come.
Got a new case and a 360 AIO, hopefully the AIO/tubes position wont get @humbug triggered anymore

Either are great cards. I’ve got the Merc and it’s fab. Check your case both cards a rather large.

Would you say it's worth upgrading the cpu from a 7700x to a 9800x3d aswell or wouldn't i notice the difference at 1440
Better low fps numbers with X3D chips.. depends if that bothers you or not but makes games smoother anyway.
You'd notice the difference, lows would be improved but also you'd still get a nice bump in performance at the top end/average as well. Whether you think it's worth it is up to you.
I'd check some benchmarks on YouTube of the games you mainly play to see performance difference between the two, then you can judge for yourself.

I'd leave it another gen, so that all cores are X3D without issue of seperate CCD/die or whatever. Plus you'd have 12 or 16 core.

No, Am5 will be around for a while, just wait for Zen 6 etc.
Zen = generation, not CPU socket gen

at the moment its a toss up between the red devil and the xfx mercury ive had 2 gens of red devil what puts me off ive read high memory temps and ive never had an xfx before

Just want to update this - I'm getting noise I don't like from the PSU now when pulling 300+W from the GPU. It's fine with Power limit @ -20%, but I'll be replacing ASAP. Not having stability issues however.
