Anyone have suggestions for a quality set of floorstands?

Found a huge price variation online, and would like some experienced options before I take a leap.

Cheers,

I use a pair of the Atacama Moseco 10 speaker stands from PT. They come in different heights and finishes. I went for the light bamboo base to go with the wood floor and the gloss black centre poles. They have a smaller diameter pole at the rear for routing the cables which is handy. I did also get the larger top plate pack and the HD-L floor spike shoes. Filled them with some Atabites and yeah, been pleased with them. I guess it all depends on your décor and what they have to fit in with. These are just in my office, so when sitting at the desk the Moseco 10's are a perfect height for my ears. :)

They are lovely - n00b question... how do the LSX attach to them? I currently have desktop KEF standard "plates" that they screw into.

Might i suggest whatever is on offer, then?

Or is the home cinema setup complete now?
Had a hiccup with finances, so this fell down the pecking order. Not progressed as yet. Just occurred to me that there *might* also be a wall mount option that I could investigate.

I would like to make sure I get something that is good at what it does - am thinking of things like vibration/stability (but am sure those in the know have many more considerations in mind that might help).

Currently desktop in a room corner, maybe 12" below ear height and within 2 feet of my seated position. The sounds is awesome. I'd probably struggle to get the same proximity with wall mounts - less so with stands.

Watching as I really should invest in some desktop stands for my LSX II LTs.
