Quest 3 owners etc

As long as you have bought the Steam version of the game, it is a mod that allows you to run AI in VR, the other mod I mentioned builds on top of that to add some enhancements.

I bought it straight from the Meta store :(
I tend not to use Steam for games unless its an actual Steam game..

Alien Isolation sold at the Meta store, even though it was not a native VR title..?

I have resisted the urge to upgrade to the Quest 3 and happily plodding along on the Quest 2, so will probably wait on the Quest 4 now if everything goes to plan and I'm still alive and kicking..

As the OS is similar on both the 2 and 3 a few things annoy me, though probably no way around them,

1 An easier way to power off the headset, think there should be a one click icon on the Taskbar in the Quest GUI
2 The app updates to the cloud that take place before you shutdown.

I must be going mad because I'm sure I used to be able to launch non-vr games in fullscreen, i.e not playing on a floating screen in Steam Home environment nor the bigger theatre screen.
The other option is I need to find a plain black environment so it's not distracting, though I suppose it's not a big deal as I wouldn't play this way much as I miss the clarity of my monitor, was just messing about.

Edit. Yes I clearly was misremembering lol.

You can do it in VD by selecting the black void environment and then curving the screen and enlarging it so that it fills your whole field of view. Enable head-lock mode to keep the screen permanently in your view.
