It's too hot :(

Yup, my portable A/C is doing some heavy lifting this year and my next house will have split A/C.
The UK will feel so cold when we get back. I mean we set the AC to 27c and it feels almost too cold already!

In hot countries ac is so vital. That said we use to live in the middle east and we didn't have AC and survived fine but that's the key difference it was surviving rather than enjoying the situation.

You certainly can survive in an old stone house if you know how and when to ventilate it.

Looks like being icky and humid rather than sunny hot for the most part, here peaks at 29C briefly Tuesday and is a far cry from a heatwave.

Lots of 28-30C temps being reported by Weather Underground stations in Hampshire, but so far, the pedestal fan on low next to me is doing a grand job... I'm sure things will get worse (hotter) before it gets better in a few days (low to mid 20s)!

At least this wave looks to only have a couple days of 30+ temps before dipping to mid 20s.

I've done my little work out, walk for an hour, now sat out on the sun, it's not too bad today.

I might go in soon though it's actually going a little hazy.

In fact **** it I'm going in now.
