What TV shows are you currently watching

Tried watching Cyberpunk: Edgerunners since I am currently 60hrs into the 2077 game. I got half way through season 1 and just gave up. Way too much loud techno music every few minutes amongst the dialogue in every episode. Just way too overboard.

Finished watching Untamed last night and enjoyed it, so looking forward to season 2 in a new setting which will likely be as gorgeous as season 1's Yosemite

Pushing on with Death In Paradise, now on Season 12 but Ralf Little is starting to grate a little bit. Some of the plots and mysteries also wear thin, you get a similar crime to one a season or two ago (e.g. murder on a boat with no apparent suspect) and they seem to forget how they solved the previous case as the answer turns out to be the same. There seems to be little actual police procedure, no real tension and the tiny police force seems to have no regard for their personal safety, never called upon to draw firearms etc., etc.

Watched the last two episodes of the second season of The Old man last night and it was pretty good - shame the cancelled it

I'm two of four eps into Operation Dark Phone: Murder by Text (C4), having heard it recommended on a Podcast. It's about how the law enforcement agency hacked the criminal phone network in 2020 and monitored all their messaging. It's certainly very interesting.

I didn't think the second season was a patch on the first season which was superb throughout. Although I did manage to finish the second season.. was very middling all the way through, but then found itself in the last couple of episodes, and could possibly have been a reasonable third season. However I can see why it got cancelled as I expect it lost quite a few viewers in the middle of the second season.

Apparently it was due to all the delays, Covid, the writer's strike and Bridges getting and being treated for lymphoma - it's a shame as I think season 3 could have been a return to form

Finished S2 of 1923.
Enjoyable but a pretty brutal ending!

Started Clickbait last night and watched 2 episodes. Interesting tech-thriller but yet another take on social media and crowd behaviours. See where it goes.

The Gone, season 2. Um, it was okay. 6/10

The last 2 episodes of Beck and oh my goodness, Becks grandchild is just so frigging ANNOYING.

They would do better to get rid of him somehow for any more future episodes as it would be so much better.

7/10

I'm now on my 2nd watch of Human which is just fantastic. I love archaeology of all kinds but there is something extra special about finding all our other ancestors and how we became "us".

10/10 and I really hope they bring out a book and dvd coz i'd definitely buy them!

Season 3 of The Rookie
7/10

I watched a few episodes with my nan years ago. She was hooked and thought of the characters as friends because she knew them so well.

All these years later I kind of understand where she was coming from.

I like the Rookie. All the characters are likable so can see why your nan thinks like that.

I'm up to date with it so halfway through season 7. All are a good watch
