To be honest, I think I am starting to prefer 1 episode a week now. Dexter resurrection does it and I am enjoying that once per week. Us oldun's had to put up with 1 per week many years ago and I think its gone full circle with myself. Less time in front of the TV and more time to do other things

Ah I see. I usually wait until shows are totally finished before watching them because I can't stand to wait a year (or more) between seasons. I might have to make an exception for this one though.
 
I'm pretty amazed they've managed to pull this out the bag considering how awful the trailers were, although they improved over time. Think I'm going to save it for the winter months though.

Well he managed to get five seasons of Fargo from one film's worth of source material.

Have a wife/child free evening tonight and was hoping to watch it, now disappointed to find it’s not out yet!

1am on disney+ and HULU, US only is the same time as well so theres no early access with a VPN

  • Alien: Earth episode 4 – Wednesday, August 27
  • Alien: Earth episode 5 – Wednesday, September 3
  • Alien: Earth episode 6 – Wednesday, September 10
  • Alien: Earth episode 7 – Wednesday, September 17
  • Alien: Earth episode 8 – Wednesday, September 24
(US dates show 1 day earlier even though it airs on the dates above... like they are saying august 12th at 1am.... when its not out until after midnight....Americans brains must be broken, or the next day doesnt happen until you sleep...)

In UK it will be on Disney+ on 13 Aug at 1am so that mean it will be only 4 hours away. :D

How the hell US and UK time is 24 hours apart??? Thought PST is 7 hours and EST is 5 hours apart from BST/GMT. Oh my brain broke. :confused::eek:

erm my bad somehow I confused my self into thinking it was 1am EST when that was GMT.

It's out in the USA on 12th august at ET 9pm which is 1am GMT so whilst its still the 12th in america its not here.
HULU USA only 12th at 9pm = 1am GMT
DIsney+ on 13th august @ 1am GMT

So airs exactly the same time world wide. no matter if you watch it on FX/HULU or disney+

It will be at 9am on Disney+ tomorrow morning in Europe based on previous shows.

Edit:i stand corrected, it's on D+ now.. will watch this evening.

Dunno what to make of it really, some good, some I struggled to be interested in, they could have got a lot of interesting mileage I think out of the initial ship based stuff - shame it moved on from that so quickly.
 
Thought it was boring it was dragging everything out more than i think it should be for the story and them memory scenes dragging it even more. Only thing i thought was cool kinda was seeing eddie from bottom in it.
 
Watched both episodes and my thoughts are that it is excellent, but it doesn't have the cadence of the original Alien movie, even though it has the ambience, the pacing/cadence is a little quicker than what the OG movie has, otherwise the cinematography is awesome, and of course more modern audio means much better immersion than what was possible back then.
