Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

Not a clue who Leoni is but be happy to get Ghui in established centre back who knows the league.
I just watched some vids on this Leoni kid, he's built like a tree, must be about 6ft 5, looking at his play he seems to be both left and right footed but does seem to go to ground a lot with sliding tackles. Would be happier to see that curtailed as the timing wrong on those sorts of things leads to a lot of pens and conceded goals. He does seem quite pacey too for such a big guy

Pretty much, hence why he appeared in the kit launch in June/July and went to Austria in pre season.
Didn't Elanga sign a new Forest contract in Jan and then it seems Isak, said in your post about a ITK Newcastle fan on a forum, along with Newcastle tapped up Elanga and unsettled him.

You're acting like Liverpool are the only club to unsettled a player. Every team does it.

I've just been out for a few beers with my Toon season ticket holding friend.

I did get a bit frustrated with him, Newcastle despite their theoretical riches are no better than Forest, Brighton or Brentford while PSR rules are a thing.

Is that right? No. But it's a fact. Until they have the accounting income to compete on wages they'll always be second choice to a Swede with no emotional attachment to a great city but who's career can end tomorrow through injury and he'd lose any chance of earning or winning things

"Some interest" = rejected. :p Oh dear. Newcastle fans are not taking this summer window very well.

I think it's the stark realisation that they'll never have a seat at football's top table, no matter how much money they have...
Only wanted Newcastle not Manu.

When Newcastle knock it’s a different knock

Only wants Newcastle!!

Thought this had went dead since Villa sold their woman’s team as I expected this to be our first signing of the season.

Came out yesterday that Nicklson has fully took control of the incomings after sorting out all the exits. No suprise then that’s deals are starting to get done.

So there’s 3 long term targets almost secured this window in Elenga, Thiaw and Ramsey.

Good signing if he comes imo. These are the type of players Newcastle should have been targeting at the start of the window rather than trying to go straight to the top shelf. We wouldn't be in this position where it feels we are panic buying a bit and more so we would likely have sorted the Isak situation too.

Presume Ramsey won't feature in the Villa game for either side. We'll probably get beat there anyway as usual, I'd play Isak up front and let him showcase his efforts to the world.

We always get beat at villa, 2 seasons ago was a fluke

Looks like Donarumma is bound for City. Bit of a weird move after they just signed Trafford.
Yeah I don’t see there plan with having them both, I suspect Trafford would be ****** off now as may just end up a wasted move.

Donarumma isn’t gonna wanna go to be a back up from what I’ve seen he doesn’t actually wanna leave PSG either

He shouldn't have signed a 6 year contract then. He was happy to take it back in 22. He should have signed a 4 year contract if he thought he could come to the PL and dominate for 3 years and then get a move to a top top club

Regarding Isak, I would like to see whatever he least wants to happen.

I think he is an example of the very worst in football and I as I might have said in an 80s action movie on ITV - “forget that guy”

I'd like to see Liverpool go for someone else and state they don't want Isak. We've all had it happen to our clubs, we all hate this type of player. Don't worry Newcastle fans, Pickford will run him through in the derby.

This stuff is never going away until we have wage caps and teams have more power over the players like in the American leagues. The money is absolutely out of control for even players that have barely scored 30 goals.
