What do you mean by this?

I spent ages playing Rush on BF3 and BF4 only to be told regularly that 'real BF players play conquest' !!! Do you mean that Rush is only for people that can play on a Thursday?

That the beta has been mainly smaller infantry only maps so far and rush one of the more unique modes that is generally popular with BF players (was my go to mode on BF3 too) gets a week day only playtime instead of letting it be on a weekend in favour of more close combat maps to 'keep the cod crowd' happy.

I get the impression that BF6 is going to be a success. I haven't played it but the feedback is generally positive and the sheer interest in the game is huge.
Even though its not the right game for me, it will definitely be a success, gaping hole in the market right now. Whether it will be an ongoing success or whether many people will drop it like hotstones as soon as the next shooter comes out is perhaps the bigger question. Success is probably easier to attain for a game than longevity.

The maps are going to play a part in that longevity question. One thing thats struck me in these betas is that I havent seen a single map , out of the 4, which I would say is a good map or a standout map. Thats a worry. Map design seems to have become a forgotten art in shooters in recent years.

I'm unsure which video you're referring to, but the clips of the "catgirl" posted a few pages back were 100% an aimbot, the guy literately locked on and started shooting at enemy infantry through a wall, and not only did he lock on but he locked onto the dead center of the enemy's chest, the exact same location he'd been locking on and shooting throughout the video.

So if you claim its not an aimbot, then you're probably an aimbotter too
Just bad players like you, can't comprehend that players have the skill to actually aim like that.

Which is a shame really because if this is a success then it's more than likely they direction they will go for future BF titles. Rather than being an awesome BF game it's an average BF game coming out when the market in a serious decline and players are happy for anything at this point. I'll play the beta some more but unless I see big changes or get a chance to try the bigger maps before release it will be another BF game I skip.

Because there was no battlefield pros and cod streamers are all controller players who don't have this talent.
the funny thing is people just generally are worse now days in general because they sit on controllers with aim assist. the player everyone is talking about isnt even good lol. just little montages of small amounts of kills. joined together :D

I have never really understood the whole concept of aim assist for controllers. A piece of code which assists my aim , on a PC, would be considered a cheat. So its weird to me that controllers in games have something that in other circumstances would be a cheat.

boils my blood. mainly cause you get players like scump in cod for eg who people worship yet hes on controller with a 60 percent aim assist. not even good. it just gives people a crutch. as the name says " aim assist " .

Infantry only? I think Siege of Cairo and Iberian Offensive are both strong with tanks aren't they? Anyone who says Liberation Peak is a small map has honestly lost their marbles.

The COD crowd would surely love Rush? It's essentially demolition from the COD games. Low spawn times, 2 objectives you have to physically plant at, it's also entirely close combat!

I've got no idea why you think that Rush being available on Thursday means that the weekend is going to be close combat maps - considering one of those is a game mode and the other are the maps?? I'm sure there's a point you're trying to make here but I'm not sure what it is.

you can tell vehicle players mad cause vehicles arent op in this. unlike every other battlefield so they can go 100-0 :p

battlefield is a infantry game 95 percent of people are on foot.

It's comedy how you think these people wouldn't absolutely body you if they were also on keyboard and mouse.

Really frustrating dying and not knowing how, kill cams seem to be in every game i play. I miss not having it.
Having a good squad is sooo much better than randoms doing own thing, its a rarity though
