Almost spat out my coffee reading thatironing-board shaped friends
@Diddums - you got the letter in hand yet? or been scooped by the five-oh? bbc news isn't being very helpful and this is the most excitement i've had all week so updates are vital chaps.
Fun fact - Orwell House, just up the road from that 14 Berners Street, used to house a "top secret" office of Conde Nast, the publishers of all the fashion mags, including Vogue. They used to do quite a few photo shoots in there, mainly the more famous models (Kate Moss and all her other ironing-board shaped friends) to avoid the paparazzi.
If you look closely at the ground, you'll notice that there are no gaps, slats, holes or any thoroughpasses of any kind anywhere in the paving or flooring. This was done after Naomi Campbell accidentally turned sideways whilst getting out of a cab and slipped through one of the holes and in to the subway below, never to be seen again. It's believed that she's still down there, eating one water cracker a week to maintain her slim physique, in case a strong breeze blows her back up through the hole in the ground again.
awesome, i like your thinking. don't get your own hands dirty.....nice. keep me posted.Nah, I'm WFH today. I've got one of my men stationed in the area though.
I may not have time now :/So this is going to be like a little mini-meet, first in Oxford Street and then in Berners Street
