TBF we only paid 40m for Kerkez, so maybe its bit of payback.
Pity to see him go, always rated him, but as with Elliott I can understand why he would want to move. Hopefully we will have a buyback in the deal.
Talking of young players, what ever happened to Calvin Ramsey, was highly regarded when we signed him but he must be something like 23 by now and not sure I've ever even seen him in a Liverpool shirt and now theres Frimpong and Bradley ahead of him he has bugger all chance of ever putting on a Liverpool shirt
Sensible move by Utd (for once), the price being touted for Baleba is insane.

And they're wrong. We won't let ourselves be short a forward going into the new season. Dango replaces Mbuemo. Someone else will replace Wissa if we get the fee we want - which seems to be in the £50m range.
We also don't want to sell Wissa, so this isn't a deal we're wanting to happen.

I'd have liked Baleba but in honesty, £115m~ presents a significant risk. We should be able to sign someone decent in midfield for half that. Seems like he's keen to join but if he has another good season, he'll have other offers I'm sure.
