Yes, we know all this, already stated in the first post :p

Someone very close to me has sent a letter to A&P Artist Management, at 104 Oxford Street, but they discovered yesterday evening that their registered address at Companies House has changed to Berners Street.

Been past 104 Oxford Street and there isn't a A&P Artist Management on the sign, didn't want to take pictures as there was people coming out of the door but its a single door with multipool company names on the wall.

Ahh, OK, thanks. It's as expected then, nothing left there and as they went via a different address to where their registered address is now, there's almost certainly not going to be any mail forwarding set up. I'll pass this on.

If anyone could get eyes on 14-15 Berners Street, that would probably confirm it.

Another letter has been sent to the 14-15 Berners Street address but I've been doing some more investigations.

Looks like there are literally hundreds of companies who use that address. What does that mean? A solicitor that represents them? Just a rented address for postage? I notice that many of the companies listed also 'moved' from Oxford Street to Berners Street, going via another office in Portland Place.

I know the company is genuine, but I do wonder if her letter will ever actually get to them.

Companies use registered office addresses that aren’t necessarily their trading address all the time. It might be their accountants or a registered office service they subscribe to which is why some buildings have hundreds of businesses registered.

In most cases there will be mail forwarding setup so that any correspondence be it HMRC etc can actually reach the business. Eg my stuff is always registered with my accountant, means they get and action any HMRC stuff promptly.

If it’s a talent place, they might’ve got sick of receiving audition tapes so took their trading address off the site. I think email/linkedin is your best bet personally.

Could be these then....

Yep they will definitely offer that service. Maybe worth calling them and ask if they forward correspondence to their clients, there is probably a good chance they do!
