AOC Agon Pro AG276UZD 27" 4K Monitor

Decided to buy one today, I did watch a review where SDR and HDR calibration weren't as good as some other displays apparently, out of the box, but can be fine tuned to get closer. Doubt that'll bother me too much, I do use it for work everyday, but I don't need professional level results. Will be nice to compare to the MSI variant, I also much prefer the stand design as someone who changes monitors frequently and doesn't want to hook em up to monitor arms.

Controls for OSD are off centre and on back off monitor - may be off putting for some - but seems to have all the same functions as similar displays
1 DP Port and 2 HDMI if that matters to anyone (connected my old xbox 360 to the display as well - thanks to that)
Everything else seems the same as the more premium displays in terms of screen performance which is the main thing.

No HDMI or DP 2.1 cables in the box though! I did get them with the more premium choices available fyi.

Will be my main driver for now but will be waiting for G5 to drop in price at 55" or G6 to offer 240Hz as my next display or the LG UW 21:9 with 240Hz also would be seriously tempting.

@Personality+ How are you finding this monitor after using it for a while? Tempted by it primarily for the convenience of the built-in speakers I can use for my laptop consoles.

I've found very little online in the way of reviews for the AOC model compared to other brands though? I'd feel a little apprehensive buying a monitor at this price with so little feedback?

I'm happy with it, but you may prefer the UI/Design of other displays on the market. The actual display itself, don't have any complaints about it, as good as the 272URX it has replaced.

And the speaker is useful to have (when my ears are uncomfortable from headsets etc I'll use them)

my biggest complaint would be UI - to use 240hz have to make sure the input is set to pc mode - and the HDR settings aren't as obvious to change as on the MSI. on MSI would see True Black 400 and HDR 1000 as options on this I get HDR Peak/Movie/Game as an example among others.

(Guess I should actually check the manual)

Also I use it at 150% scaling.

Also the MSI is cheaper now so I'd be swayed to go MSI, this was £599.99 when I got the AOC

There's a B Grade 272URX which may be tempting to you also on the site right now for under £600 provided the serial number hasn't been registered would still provide 2-3 years warranty for the display.
