It's too hot :(

First night with just the windows open last night. It dropped to 28c which is glorious! Just the fan on.

It is a very different heat to the UK though and the breeze is nice. Definitely have acclimatised, it's going to be a shock going back to the UK!

I got this week off work so now lets see if i get some nice sunny weather for a huge change or will it be the normal crappy UK weather we always get.

My last week off was in March and yes it rained and was dam cold.

Had a lie-in, so missed the opportunity to open windows and door to let the cooler air in at 07:00.

A/C unit moved to living area to keep at a comfy 24°C all day.

Clean the filters weekly and drain the condensate catch tank every couple of days for best performance.

And yes, the indoor parts of split A/C systems do usually have an air filter.

Taken some time to reach 20C today, I don't believe for a second that it will now reach 26C this afternoon!

Unusual north easterly breeze is making our east facing lounge lovely and fresh without feeling cold, but it will make my ride harder on the way out.

27c today! Was too hot near the sun baked wall next to the house had to find shade. Compared to an unexpected cool and cloudy day yesterday its back to sunshine and heat today. Middle of week next week could get very cool overnight though they're talking about 10-12c due to northerly wind!

Yes, mine are due a clean now. Will get them done soon as they've had a lot of use this year, pretty much been on 24/7 the past couple of months.

Did them last year, pulled them right to bits and went to town on them. Was thinking of getting some proper cleaner for the evaporator too.

Temp is down a few degrees now, but doesnt feel like how it was before the very recent heat wave.
I dont like the cold as much as I used to due to ageing, but I think it still edges it, as layers of clothing mixed with heating mitigates it, whilst I dont really have a proper mitigation for heat.

Certainly a bit warmer today, too hot for me this afternoon and sunset arrived far too quickly after dinner (pitch black since 2055ish).
