Hello, I am looking for some upgrade advice. I already own a 4090 but I'm looking to pair it with the best CPU for my needs. I am a single PC user who games and live streams.

Purchase Timeframe:
I don't have a timeframe, this is just to get an idea.

Budget:
£1000

Usage:
I already have a 4090 but it's currently on a AM4 board with AMD Ryzen 9 5900X. Everything needs to be upgraded except the GPU, PSU (RM1000x) and the case, the case should be large enough already. It will be used for gaming and live streaming, such games as Battlefield 6 on the highest graphic settings. I've tried this on my current setup and my FPS dropped to an unplayable level and the stream was choppy but when not streaming I get around 50-70 frames on Ultra in BF6. I game and stream in 1440p.

Preferences:
AMD x3d

Current Hardware:
Ignore the LG TVs, the KG, XV and MSI are my monitors, the MSI is the gaming monitor.

Peripherals:

Not required.

Special Needs/Requirements (inc Wi-Fi):
None

Thanks for your responses so far.

If I was to lean towards the 9950X3D to use with my ASUS ROG STRIX GAMING 4090, could I please get suggestions on a Motherboard, CPU Cooler and RAM?

I intend to use my current case which is a Cooler Master MasterCase H500 ARGB White Standard Gaming Case.
I would like my cooler to be similar to my current one as it isn't too complex to setup but obviously I will need it to suit the needs of the new CPU. My current one is a Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240R RGB Liquid CPU Cooler. (This will be my first time installing all these parts myself rather than having it built by a company).

The whole purpose of this setup is to maximize frames whilst gaming and live streaming at the same time.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £977.96 (includes delivery: £0.00)

You cooler you already own should cope with the new cpu and has support for AM5 so there is no reason to replace it. Your case only allows a 240mm rad in the roof so your a bit restricted in what AIO you can fit.

This would be an upgrade for your old one.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £69.95 (includes delivery: £0.00)

Thanks for your response. Should I get a case that fits a 360mm, would you go for the same version but the 360 variant or would you suggest something else?

If you like your current case then keep it and go for the arctc liqued freezer 3 as its a very capable cooler. The only question is tha the AC freeezer radiator is thicker than the standard one used on 95% of AIOs but that case seems very deep so should avoid any clearance issues..

Alternatively you could go to old reliable air cooling. The thermalright royal pretor 130 is a beast and comes in white and will keep the 9950x3d under coltrol.

OCUK dont sell it yet and there is an ultra version been announced but I dont think it available in the UK yet.
