*made in China :p

They do look good in the red and even better which the white interior which is a bit of a pain to keep white.

It cleans up alright (vegan plastic seats and all that) but you’ll be forever cleaning it.

yeah the white interior is too much of a PITA to keep clean. they look superb when new though!
black is the more sensible choice
it's also not as dark and dreary when compared to the bimmer because the headliner is light-grey, and panoramic roof :D

25 mile trip from pickup to home including 12 motorway miles...averaging 228wh/mile...that's insane lol

Does anyone know if I can move onto octopus go and then straight onto intelligent octopus go when my charger arrives? My car arrives on Wednesday but my charger won't be installed until September 8th. IOG says that I have to onboard a car within seven days but I won't have the charger by then?

Yes, takes 30 seconds to change tariff in the app

The fixed tariff for Go was relatively new here. I had to email them to get it sorted and ask some other questions. Their support is excellent and responsive. I will be shifting to Intelligent Go as well once my new charger and Puma Gen-E arrive, hopefully early next month.

And yet another Tesla Appt, Charge port still playing up, when i open it from the app it doesn't actually open. It does make a noise like its trying. If i pull the flap it opens pretty quick. Be the 3rd time they've looked.
When they last looked there's a bit of trim which isn't sat right.
Also getting a new rattle

Noticed Liverpool in the list so going to go there, appt booked today for this Friday which is pretty quick.

I have my car linked to octopus not my charger, tend to use the 3 pin plug for the Tesla, then the 7kw charger for the other one.

now just waiting for the HUD and rear screen to arrive lol
I cancelled the ones from tesstudio
Found the exact same parts on AliExpress for a whopping £150 cheaper...basically paid £260 total for the driver's display and rear screen
(done bit of digging and they're basically all produced at the same factory and then just rebranded...might as well just buy it straight from the factory then lol)

It looks like Tesla have quietly added an indicator stalk to the model 3 in China and are now offering a $350 retrofit for existing cars without one.

Sense has prevailed at last.
Can buy the aftermarket stalks on AliExpress. They have both stalks - indicator and drive select)

You can but they are not the best and can be bricked by a software update on the Tesla side.

It also doesn’t address the point that the steering wheels buttons are not the best in Europe and the lack of a stalk clearly impacted sales. It should never have been a thing.

A new long wheel base model Y also just launched in China. It’s 180mm longer and comes with 6 seats as standard.

The normal 6 seat model Y is tiny in the 3rd row so that should make it a lot more comfortable. Im not really sure why they bothered launch a 6 seat in the standard Y, it really is like getting into the back of an Audi TT back there.
