It will never happen for obvious reasons but what do we think the effect of banning wrestling from MMA would be in terms of the sports popularity ?

I feel like the only people who actually enjoy the wrestling are people who either wrestle or used to wrestle in their youth. Everyone i've ever met who watches the UFC finds the ground game boring af and crowds always boo when a fight is almost entirely on the floor.

On a side note, why is Dakota Ditcheva still messing around in the PFL when she could easily sign with the UFC and be an infinitely bigger star, potentially the biggest in the sport, certainly amongst the women.

How do you ban wrestling but keep takedowns?

Anyone who has done grappling (bjj, wrestling etc) knows how difficult it can be and can see the skill on display.
If you hate the ground game, well I bet you're not really an MMA fan, just a "big" fight fan.

Building her brand so she dont get a 10k/10k fight deal with the UFC.

People only say it's boring because DDP was able to survive and not get submitted. If Khamzat had managed to finish him off I don't think anyone would have complained. No one said it was boring when he cranked Whittaker's jaw off.

I like the wrestling, it's super impressive the way he just dominated an absolute unit like DDP, multiple crucifixes.

Better off doing a Kayla harrison and just becoming a millionaire overnight, most in PFL/Bellator scenes either too old, unskilled or ex-ufc although there probably will be 2-3 that may give her some competition as it always is with the lower leagues.

Rampage Jacksons son looking likely to be arrested for what almost looks like attempted murder based on the videos doing the rounds.

People have been saying wrestling is boring since the beginning of time, it's the most universally hated part of MMA hence why crowds boo most of the time a fight goes to the floor and it's not a ground and pound or instant submission (which is most of the time...)

No denying the skill involved but it's just objectively dull to the majority of viewers, especially somehere like the UK where there is zero culture or interest in proper wrestling.

Just saw that vid on Instagram. What the hell was going on there? The slam alone knocked the bloke out then he just absolutely tees off on him.

Edit - just saw another vid, wrestler smashes a beer can on his head before any of the in ring stuff.

Raja jackson is a ***** and Rampage knows it.
Anyone remember when Rampage said Raja sucker punched him? Or the recent video of those gang members trying to square up? Raja was wanting to fight with them. There is some typical problems in place with Raja, he cannot control himself at all, he's an embarrassment and we should stop making people famous based off their parents.

Edit: Says it all.

Also, Anyone follow the BJJ scene CJI etc?

Craig Jones been very vocal and on a lot of interviews about CJI3, excited for it.
His interview with Mighty Mouse and Mikey is hilarious.

Alex felt no pressure or threat from Ank, this time round, stalked and just went in on him.
Ank genuinely looked terrified to be in there with him.

Mohammed Usman reportedly tested positive for elevated testosterone levels. Not sure if we will see a fight between him and Walter Walker ever.
