Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

Pretty flat this week for me. I’m deliberately diversifying at the moment though to shield myself from a US tech correction.

Few more dividend stocks. Bits of tech. Some biotech. All world dividend ETF. UKWind. Just gonna pick up bits here and there.

Difficult to know where to put cash at the moment.
Some much US tech seems super over overvalued. Even decent results can lead to hefty falls at the moment. I'm not sure if it will pop. As I'm huge correction. But I do feel we are on cusp of a correction.

I'm not great at pulling out of stocks. I've been bitten many times for it. This feels like a time to cash out a fair amount

Ukw... Just seems to keep dropping

Uk wind seems like a good one for the old folk. But climate change is lowering UK average wind speeds, those renewable trusts are having a very tough time of it right now.

Most of the damage was done with rising rates, they act like bond proxies basically, but these constant downgrades to output are not good.

I will be surprised if RHM doesn't rise by 7% on Monday given that the US-Russia talks about peace for Ukraine were a failure.

Man. I was literally debating with myself whether to buy into United Health the day before Buffet invested a 1.5billion into them.. Would have been a easy 20% profit.

This might actually be a good stock to diversify into.

Like others I feel still to into us tech and think a correction is due.

I have spire in the UK as I believe private healthcare in the UK is going to boom.

I'm invested in Aviva and medical insurance keeps performing well. Ie.. More people going private

Health is probably going to need more cash over the mid and long term in the west.

Today has been a little eyebrow raising across a few of my stocks. Namely RKLB and AMD. Keeping an eye on things to see whether it's worth buying the dip or keep my averages low.

I think I've started selling just in time.
I don't want to call it.. But is this the start of the correction?

I'm seeing "correction" type news articles all over the place. What's a great way to start a correction? Talking about a correction in mass media.

I don't see any major catalyst for a correction right now. Sure the market is a little over-heated and might pull back a bit, but there needs to be some concrete change in context for the markets to go into reverse properly.

Last time is was Trump throwing a gigantic spanner into the machinery of global trade. Nothing like that has happened.

We're in a phase where economies are sluggish, interest rates are falling, asset prices likely to continue to rise.

I'm not trying to time the overall market, just looking for opportunities as and when they present themselves.

My INTC holding mitigating the falls today.

I prefer the trump stuff. It's erratic. It's games. It's unpredictable. But it's short term.

Its the general weakness for me I see coming. What I've noticed more is sentiment matters more than I've ever seen before now. Hype and hope can propel even large stock to extreme valuations. So makes sense that fear could over sell?

I won't play with pension. But my single isa stocks? The stop losses have really started hitting this week.

You guys can all quote this when I'm wrong in a month's time. But it's first time since covid I've actually started selling vs talking about it.

no one knows the future, but we all know the past (sometimes..) and its easy to point fingers when you have all the information and look back.
all stocks are just speculative trading, so no wright or wrong anwer just best guesses with the info and expirence at hand.
