@haaammit How are you finding the Road 6s on your ZX9R? Is there any noticeable difference when compared to the 2CTs?

I prefer the 6 as they don't seem to need as much heat to get grippy - I did find them a little slower when going over from one side to the other, but as I've got used to them, they're fine. I've ridden in wet conditions and they're very good - they've also lasted longer - haven't fully worn them out yet, but they've done 1k more on the rear than the 2CTs.

I don't really care for the look though if I'm honest, but that is personal preference. As an all round, do everything tyre, they’re great!

Did CBT. I initially went on a geared bike but found bit too much brain overload, so rather have anxiety , getting frustrated etc so went for the scooter.

years ago I had a geared motorbike I learned on that in business parks, got a few weeks use on that so when I went for CBT is was much easier. If I did that now police would probably confiscate it

Unfortunately this time round didn't have weeks of practice beforehand so was getting bit much, with the scooter with removal of gears made the practical much easier and could concentrate on riding . Did ok and passed. Instructor informed my did fine, but I was riding like a cyclist.

Probably would be fine with couple of days pootling around car park with geared bike, but with CBT it's just a few hours

Now to decide whether to get geared motorbike or a scooter. I can see the appeal of scooters, storage space, twist and go so for around town constant stop/start scooters are easier.

Then issue of further licenses down the road, getting scooter means won't get skill in gears so when I go A1/A2 it would be scooter only.

I just bought a horse riding saddle and hat and airbag and those tight trousers and a hi vis jacket with "I love horses, best of all the animals" written on it.

I think I might try scuba diving though. Any advice on whether sharks can read?

And what is water? Will I float? Can I put a saddle on an otter?
