Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

Well realistically based on there window so far I doubt they will get a striker let alone 2.

Gordan isn’t good enough to lead the line for them so if they don’t sell him they will have to get him back in team as they don’t have goals otherwise

But sure fans will show there love xD
If only Jim Bowen was still alive, they could have had him on the speaker system at St James Park on Monday when Ekitike runs onto the pitch , saying to the Newcastle fans "Lets look at what you could have won"

Are you in charge at Newcastle? cos this a reasonable synopsis of their analysis of the situation it seems.

You missed the bit out about trying to sign other players for less than their valuations though whilst making a big song and dance about your own.

He signed before the rule of amortisation of 5 years max came into effect so the 63 mil he cost has been halved.

People need to learn the meaning of a contract, if they don’t, it can be shown in action what it is. That is sitting in the reserves. He can cry about it while the oil rich owner writes off 30mil. Yes I know NFC is a different entity to the owner and PSR applies to NFU and not the owner. Besides, they were going to sign a striker anyway without selling Isak, so the money was already there. They are not forced to sell him. So let him waste his prime years of 26-29 in the reserves.

If Isak want to play hard ball, let’s play. He will be begging to let in the 1st team quick enough because without 1st team football he is not going to a top club when after a couple of years in the reserves.

Well technically they'd be writing off the rumoured £110m already offered. Still pocket change for the owners though

I dont think any of that will happen, I'd put money on him being sold this summer. Whilst the way he has gone about things isnt really the best look, making one of the top strikers around, sit in the reserves out of spite is equally not the best look, makes the club look as much of a childish tantrum as the childish tantrum from the player for his part.

So you're effectively saying let the player dictate to the club what happens? Should his behaviour be rewarded? Sit in the reserves out of spite? Spite of what exactly?

What a great precedent that would set after his childish behaviour. The whole summer has been a complete fiasco, we cannot hide that. Isak's statement of he said/she said hasn't really proven anything.

I know it won’t, but it would be wonderful if it did. Some people need to learn the meaning of a contract and if they want to play hardball, it can be played.

I have no problem with people wanting to change jobs or in this case, change clubs, but until then, he is under contract and he needs to fulfil his side of the bargain of that contract and that is train like a professional and play for the club that he has a contract with.

It's not about the money for the owners, it's about money for the club and PSR and UEFA FFP which may(!! as it's going I don't think they'll qualify this season) become more important over the next couple of seasons for NUFC. Newcastle cannot write off £10m never mind £100m. Even the top clubs look to scrimp that change.

“We have been told there is a feeling that Brentford are delaying that move because they want to sell Wissa to Tottenham, given their relationship with Frank”

Brentford just think you're ****.

Saying something when Daniel Levy is easier to deal with.

If I am Newcastle owner I would put Isak in the reserve for 3 years, swallow the loss in PSR.

If a man can’t be a man and live up to his words, or in this case, the contract he signed. He will not play any football in his prime footballing years.

Some people need to learn a lesson the hard way.

Along the way, not pay him because he refuse to play, I suspect there is a clause in the contract that he has to turn up for training to actually get paid.
You realise that the owners of Newcastle are (loosely) businesspeople, not the writers of fables with a moral twist though, right?

Liverpool fans starting to get a bit bitter, just because you though Isak was done and dusted
bitter? Isak will be the cherry on a very nice transfer window cake - well Guehi would really, Isak would be an excellent digestif tho :)

if anyone is bitter its you lot, constantly rejected by every striker under the sun and your star player telling you lot to **** off has sent you lot loopy. regardless, i'd rather be bitter than what Newcastle fans have turned into since they were taken over
