Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

You realise that the owners of Newcastle are (loosely) businesspeople, not the writers of fables with a moral twist though, right?
Of course I do. Who do you take me for? lol it’s all hypothetical.

However, one side of it has already come true, the side the player refusing to train, personally, for me he has laid his bed, now he should lay in it and should be happy with the bed that he has laid.

Latest from Sky Sports News' Michael Bridge:

Tottenham felt they had an agreement in place with Crystal Palace and Eberechi Eze on Wednesday.

However, Palace wanted Eze to play in Thursday's Conference League play-off against Fredrikstad.

Spurs now believe Eze wants to join Arsenal and they have moved on to other targets.

Arsenal reignited their interest in Eze on Wednesday and as far as Spurs are concerned, they expect him to move to the Emirates.

Going from no more signings unless sales are made to spending £60m plus on Eze must surely mean Havertz is out for the season. Works all summer to get tonk to duke it out with Gyokeres for the striker role then his knee explodes after one game…

Why on earth would Wissa prefer Newcastle on the basis that they have history with French African players, when all of the players mentioned were part of the club under the Ashley era? I'm not saying Newcastle aren't his preferred destination, just seems like a stupid reason.

It's kinda like saying he wants to join Newcastle because he's partial to a chocolate digestive and he heard that's also Mike Ashley's favourite biscuit.

It's a good biscuit though

no, originally said 50 i believe, Newcastle have gone 25 and now 40 - although some talk its now 60
They've not said anything. Ornstein has it correct on his most recent post in Wissa today. We've flat out refused to give Newcastle an asking price. All these prices and gentlemen's agreement bits are nonsense being fed by agents and journalists.

The problem now is that the world knows Newcastle is getting desperate and they have money to spend, as people saw them bidding £85 mil for Sesko. Every player now will have a price hike for Newcastle and everyday it gets closer to the deadline, the higher the price.

A certain, dubious, mainstream newspaper claims that Liverpool are preparing a 130m bid for Isak next week. We'll see if anything comes of that or whether its said newspapers usual nonsense.

NUFC happy to have Isak star as the pantomime villain on Monday night even though it is doubtful he will even be there. Meanwhile the board, directors, execs or whatever they call themselves have let down Eddie Howe, the team of players who do actually want to be there and of course the fans for the 6th successive transfer window, again starting the new season in a weaker squad position than we finished the last.
