——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

Really enjoyed the beta, felt a bit chaotic (and COD like) to start, but once I got into the flow of it, it was great.

Having the option to do closed / open weapon classes is a good addition.

Looking forward to this, reminded me of Bad Company and Battlefield 3. Slapped a pre-order in as I can see me spending many of months on this come release.

played the beta and I must say the game is nothing short of amazing. I don't want to go into crazy detail but I was a hard core bf2 player and played it well over 10+ years exclusively and nothing else, never really like the direction battle field took with subsequent games and while some were good and some awful nothing to me was like bf2, but bf6 is amazing and I am very impressed by the game play, the graphics, the map size and number of players per map.

Really impressive what EA have done with this, was shocked tbh and though it was going to be another EA battlefield boilerplate. Still prefer the bf2 game style over bf6 COD style but bf6 is really fun and great eye candy.

You are literally the first person I've seen in the thread who says that they are "very impressed" by the map size ! Thats some sort of award for you I'd say , a cup or some sort of rosette :)

To borrow a Louis Rossmann phrase, you can stop cosplaying as a Electronic Arts shareholder now :p

You almost had me until the map size and number of players per map

Nah it must be true, he was a hardcore player of bf2 which means we must give more weight to that opinion.

Do you think EA should decide before launch on what to go for be it open or closed weapons. Or do you think having both is fine going forward?

They should decide imo. Kinda shows lack of direction and they don't know what they want from their game.
Pretty certain though they had decided on open weapons and the couple of close weapon gamemodes we got in the beta were scrambled together in am attempt to calm the backlash they received.
With open weapons the classes are pointless other than engineer and support.

Are we please able to stop this thread from turning into yet another 'everyone is cheating' thread?

Well considering a few here were defending cat man, while seeing all the proof in front of them is well......

Anyway, user was banned on the original account, then played on a different one

Sadly part and parcel of Battlefield, and many other games, these days.

I actually jumped into BF4 last night after not playing for 4 years and was pleasantly surprised to only notice 1 person who was definitely cheating, though not to the extent it was too much of a problem, and 1 other who was maybe using ESP/wallhacks - potentially there may have been others but not to the extent they were noticeable.

Kind of hilarious after not playing for 4 years and only casually playing the odd FPS since, mostly The Division, my aim and coordination is not quite dialled in but I was still managing positive KDRs playing Metro despite playing very forward pushing, and was still the one getting the breakout and spawn beacon down to turn the game around hah.

So far for all its faults I feel like BF4 is the better game compared to this.
