Google Pixel 10 Series (10/10 Pro/10 Pro XL/10 Pro Fold & Pixel Watch 4)

I'm not a gamer on my phone, so don't have that many installed.

I use 256GB phones, it's rare I used 50% of that and I'm a heavy photography and take tons of videos of holidays and my daughter etc.

Current usage is use 109/256GB.

I've bricked and damaged too many phones in my life to not have my valuable images/videos stored on the cloud. I like to access them easily on PC as well!

I've currently got 128GB with 73GB in use, but I'm still tempted to go 256GB as I'll likely keep this phone a few years and it will be a pain if I do start running out.

I don't keep much locally though, and in theory I think I should be okay with 128, but it's a tricky one.
Definitely go 256. Videos and photos with higher res soon start to take up space, 256 just gives that room to grow and not worry as much.

Because not all I have is backed up to the cloud.
Personally, that would be a bigger concern to me than having enough local storage to house it all. My Google One sub costs £15.99 for the year and my wife and daughter get to use the space. I periodically back up to local SSD on my PC.

Data only exists if there's at least one copy on an independent machine.

I've got 256GB on my P8 Pro and I'm using 61GB!

Agreed. Surprised the P10 Pro still starts at 128GB. Would have thought it would be 256GB like the Pro XL.
I think there is still a market, they must have looked at sales and some data has influenced that choice. I can't see any phone going down the 128GB route next year though.

I guess there's a good reason for it, as we're all giving them an extra £100...

Annoyingly it then means the XL is only an extra 100 on top of that, so tempting me towards that, but not sure I want something larger.

I don't back up things like WhatsApp media etc... lots of temp files are downloaded to downloads for example.

I receive lots of large files that I just don't need to put on the cloud. If I lose it it's not the end of the world. Also I keep a lot of stuff "offline" as I'm not always connected.

I also have storage for my work profile on my phone. All files there aren't needed but plenty is stored locally - if they get deleted it's not a big deal.

Main pics are backed up. Even then I spend ages deleting half of them which are just not needed. But I'm lazy and the convenience of having tonne of storage for the times I don't need to worry about it is just handy.

Horses for courses as they say!

I've got a 128gb P7pro on release and still got 50gb free in it.
I suspect I am a part of this data set :D

Ordered my 10 Pro from Three, the trade in values are too good to pass up.

I managed to get:
10 Pro 256gb
200gb data
£39/pm

£481 trade-in for my Pixel 8 128gb (non-pro), they waived the £130 airtime early upgrade fee, the money will cover the £306 early repayment for my handset and give me some cash left over.

Struggling to resist the upgrade from P8 to P10. Fancy the P10P but only if a kind soul here has a £150 code I can have! Google only gave me a £20 even though I've bought 2 pixel 9s in the last 6 months for family members!
