Well, I held off temptation for a couple of days before looking at upgrade options. Strangely it had worked out almost £15 a month cheaper to use O2 switch up to swap my 9 Pro XL for a 10 Pro XL. New device for less cost a month, winner for me. O2 also confirmed I'll be in their initial order batch so should still get it on release day
Now I just need to decide whether I want to stick with a Mous case and splash out on their exorbitant pricing. I've had 5 cases for the 9 Pro XL in the last year and the carbon mous case is by far the best I've used.

official Pixelsnap case arrived today for the P10 Pro, indigo version… jinkies it’s slippy! Looks great, but I’m definitely throwing the phone across the room if I stick with this case.

Went into town today to look at the 10 Pro XL. It's very slightly smaller than my 7Pro, but thicker. Not a fan of the large curved corners either, feels very large in hand.
No one has the 10 fold in stock to view, so still undecided between that and the Samsung Fold 7
