What's the mini maus.

Tiger 1 is my go to almost always competitive in any tier. Prog46 always interesting. Scorp/su130 when I get run of bounces. T67 when I need lots of hit daily.

Generally don't play my T9/10 because they are expensive and I'm a tomato.

Lately having good fun in the M4A3E8.

Funnily enough I had a couple of games in my T67 - used to love it, but it has been truly nerfed to hell.

Nearly bought a micro-maus years ago and never did.

My go to low tier tanks are:
Luchs
KV-220-2 (yeah I know - seal clubber)
S35 739(f)
Type 5 Ke-Ho (great little tank - punchy gun and with binos and a good crew outspots 99% of T4 players)
B2 740(f) not as good as it was but angled properly many players still don't know how to deal with it.
And yes the Lefferferv 105 leFH18B2 - I do feel dirty, but it has some awesome games.


I've also been almost enjoying Onslaught - but only as I got Silver last time so got my Concept 1B and Kampfpanzer 50t. Now I just play for the missions which make great credits.

But - ONLY play onslaught if you really really don't care about winning. The number of brain dead players that just ruin games or troll is terrible.

Thought I’d give this a go again playing lower tier Light Tanks.

Had a happy hour retrieving the login for the NA I’d apparently generated at some point over the years to do the new “combined account” gubbins. This was not helped by both my Wargaming and Steam accounts (long story) still having my old U.K. mobile as the 2FA phone.

My goal is to grind to Tier 6/7 of the French and British light tanks without spending a single cent.
 
I think they changed how lower tiers work. I don't think you have to grind like the old days. I tried going back and realised I didn't know how those tiers work anymore.

QB made a video about it.


I find lights hard to play. All the other types, heavies, meds, etc all seem to out spot you.
 
So it looks like the game will be getting tier 11 tanks and a new garage/UI early next month along with some other updates to coincide with 2.0. The tier 11 tanks aren't what you would expect, such as cold war era tanks that naturally follow on from what is already in the game, instead they seem to be completely made up tanks.

I haven't played a battle since 16th April 2023 according to my service record, but I'm currently flicking through the garage and my tanks updating crew skills and such like while trying to fend off the itch to play a battle. It doesn't help that each day you log in between now and early September you can open envelopes that will give you rewards like Free XP, credits, premium days, and so on. I opened the envelopes and have 7 days premium for just clicking a few things and could likely get more premium days by remembering to log in a few times this coming week.

I seem to have acquired a Panzer IV F2 premium tank, so I've moved my Leo PTA crew into it and am thinking about some leisurely games at Tier 5/6.

I've also been given a British premium light tank, but lights were never my thing.
 
I tried playing yesterday for the first time in several years

The UI is super confusing to me now, total overload.

Tried three times to play a game and each time it said there are less than 10 people queued and then it put me into games filled with bots
 
Looking online they say the lower tiers are filled with wg bots to be pad out the games. I never go into lower tier games. Probably the lowest I'll go is 5-6 and then rarely. Mostly I'm 7-10 probably at 8 the most. It's not really economical for me to play 10 unless theres free premium time going.

Hi Grim5

Thats because if you have not played for ages you get some kinda bot mode for x amount of games. Its a welcome back thing so youre not thrown in at the deep end with killers.

If you really want to get back into it send me a message I play most evening and pretty good at the game. Id happily platoon with you to answer any questions you have.

Not true unless its 3am in the morning GRIM is playing in protected mode. As hes not played in ages meaning he will more than likley get games against bots. In protection mode.
 
There is a list of rebalanced tanks on the WoT website. Nothing for the Centurion AX, but the 7/1 and Centurion 1 are receiving some buffs. Those who already enjoy the Object 140 will be quite happy with the changes.

The temptation is still there for me to click Battle, but I know I'll probably end up angry about all the wheelie boys and auto-(re)loaders WG have no doubt added since I last played. Must admit I've been playing War Thunder occasionally since I stopped playing WoT, and it has been enraging me the last couple of days, and that doesn't help with resisting temptation.
