Kanto YU6

Currently have a pair of edifier r890 bookshelf speakers that I use with my PC but its time they get upgraded.
Some research online and a lot of people have been recommending the Kanto YU6 as a big upgrade and sounding great. Has anyone had any experience with these, if so any pros/cons?

Heard some a while back but preferred the Ruark Audio MR1 (MK2), which I bought.

There are some new MK3's out now which are the same price as the Kanto's, so definitely worth a consideration.

For a desk? They're pretty large so if you're listening less than 1m away from them I'd advice against 6.5 inch + speakers.

Have just gone ahead and bought the YU6! Managed to find a good deal online from someone selling them for £300!

They're good speaker so you'll enjoy them. I would also recommend pointing the the tweeters at ear height as that's where the reference axis is.

Just finished setting them up now and they sound fantastic! Truly excellent speakers. I have readjusted the speakers as well after and its better. Tempted to get some nice stands for these so its easier to adjust the height
