The ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090

There is nothing to stop them releasing a card with the same chip as the RTX 6000 but a bit more overclocked and optimised.

5090s are not flying off the shelves so Nvidia will do something to boost sales and use up their GB202 chips.

True but they're not going to cannibalize their just released Pro card by releasing something a hell of a lot faster at a cheaper price.

If anything it will be a higher tier pro card IMO.

And 5090's aren't flying off the shelves as most people can't afford £2000+ for a single computer part, £1500 for the 4090 was already pushing it.

This^

That is why I said earlier that Nvidia have not made a good GPU since the 1xxx series.

The 1080ti was a great card.

At some point the Chinese are going to get their act together and Nvidia won't know what hit them.

1080 Ti was amazing and I fully agree about the Chinese, Only thing holding them back right now is not having access to the latest tech that AMD and Nvidia use from TSMC, Once they have their own top end fab facilities they'll storm the market as they will come in at low prices that both AMD and Nvidia won't be able to compete with.

Or more specifically, Prices Nvidia won't want to compete with due to having to go low.
