I agree. My view is that both goals should be given. My point is more that many United fans both on here and elsewhere were saying that the Arsenal goal shouldn't have stood, and those fans presumably think United's should also be chalked off.
 
Seems like we're debating subjective decisions every game, VAR hasn't helped with that at all...
Yeh just confuses things tbh.

Rather just have a ref, good calls, bad calls or whatever.

At least the game flows and it's not debated for hours after the game.

This is what I said when it was brought in. Except for ridiculous refereeing mistakes, and objective decisions (eg offsides, ball out of play etc), VAR won't help because most fouls in football are subjective.

If anything, VAR has opened more up to debate. That foul on Bassey would never have even been considered before VAR. Now it is (rightly in the circumstances) debated.
