Anyone know when the Asus XG32UCWMG is coming out ?

I hope this will be available at the end of August but surprised it's not available to pre-order yet.
 
Italian guy that I play The Finals with said his is set to be delivered tomorrow for him so surely means we're not too far off getting some dates for the UK...

I was convinced this monitor was the one for me - but seeing Asus reveal their XG27AQWMG yesterday (1440p 280hz with the new WOLED panel, glossy and TB500) has definitely made me have second thoughts.

Ive spotted the PG32UCDM and is very tempting at £732. I don’t need duel monitors. would have preferred the UCDMR that has the 2.1 DP.

This XG32UCWMG is going to cost about £1100-£1350 here in uk it seems. Again there is a lack of DP 2.1 which is irrelevant if you don’t use a NVIDIA 5 series card but I do like to figure proof if that even exists in this game.

I think future proofing makes sense with monitors, we don't upgrade them nearly as much as other components. Typically I'd rather my monitor 'exceeded' the current capability of my build so that I know it'll be there for whatever my next 2 GPU upgrades look like.

The temptation was to great and I did buy it today as the deal was ending in 2 days with the 20% off.

I have a 4090 in my pc and I’m happy to keep that for another 2 years. There is an updated version coming out with the PG32UCDMR which is DP 2.1 and it’s over £450 more. In fact Overclockers have it for pre order. For £1199.

For £732 i paid for the same monitor but with DSC I think I can live with it until I get a 6090 in a couple of years.
