Are there any Matte OLEDs? I think they are all glossy but based on how well they handle reflections they are labelled differently. So the surface might be called semi glossy or anti glare or anti reflective depending on the manufacturer.
For example. Rtings says this is Matte, Asus calls it Anti Glare.

The PG27AQDP is NOT glossy, it’s got a matte anti glare coating the same as 99% of all WOLED screens. It would make a great choice for a 27” OLED monitor.
You can also look at most other WOLED technology screens, they have the same matte anti glare.
The only QD-OLED models you may want to consider would be Samaung’s range from last year and this year where they’ve added a matte AG coating themselves on top of the QD-OLED panels natively semi-glossy finish

My bad. I thought maybe that the Matte label when applied to OLEDs was different. Because any OLED that I look at seems to be sort of glossy. Like I have the Philips Evnia 27 inch OLED and it looks to be less glossy than the PG27AQDP.
See above, Baddass has corrected me on that. The PG27AQDP is actually Matte. But I suggest you look at the pictures of it. It's the exact thing you don't like, shiny black borders.
You should take a look at the Philips Evnia that I have. It has a glossy finish but it doesn't have black bezels!! It's the Philips Envia 27m2n8500. Here is what it looks like

It's very difficult not to get tempted by the 4K screens. I stuck with 1440P purely for gaming performance.
Baddass might be able to answer better, but I don't think there is much difference. I would pick a budget and then see what OLEDs are within that budget. If you can afford it, and aren't in a hurry, you should consider waiting for one of the new OLEDs with the 4th gen panels. Better colours, better HDR, brighter, more energy efficient and better burin in resistance.
