what headphones do you own thread - i own dt150's :)

Had to Google what that was :o

Should have guessed would be another IEM :p

No experience myself but several people I know who collect headphones don't reckon Truthear are very durable, had a look at the Hexa before but can't remember what my thinking was as to not buying them.

It would be fine as I rotate between like 5 pairs along with my wireless ones, they won't get that much game time.

I have no idea if there is truth to it, I think it was one reason I've not bothered to buy - I've had the Hexa and Crinacle Zero: RED on my watchlist for awhile if the price goes low enough - though I think the Zeros aren't my kind of sound signature but a lot of people seem to like them.

I have the Truthear Hexa but I find it a bit too fatiguing on certain tracks, I've ordered the Truthear Pure hoping that will be remedied, Resolve from the Headphone Show thinks it's better in this respect and I tend to find a lot of my preferences align with his, my fav budget IEM thus far has been the Truthear x Crinacle Zero: Red, very good allrounder imo and not harsh at all.

I've gone the other way. Not because I hate the Pure, it's lovely to listen to, I was curious and with the sale on at Ali. After a bit more time with the pure, trying tips and insertion depths, I wish it had a touch more treble or airiness. So i have the Hexa on the way, so I will see as well. Luckily the Daybreak is in-between batch orders, ir I'd have bought that as well by now....

If we'd had known we could've just done a swap lol, I don't really use my Hexa anymore.

I like the Pure, I was facing an industrial case of "NOT KNOWING IF THE OTHER OPTION IS BETTER". Based on what I always said I like, I prefer Neutral-Warm generally. Perhaps the pure has slightly too much bass and slightly too dark treble. I've not really tried EQing it yet on the Mojo2. My brother prefers Bright, with a hint of siblance, because he's weird. So once I've convinced myself it's the Pure I like, the Hexa will make a great present for him, since it was on sale with a coupon as well. That sounds like more than a bit of confirmation bias, but what can you do.

Forgot that someone did take a pic of the specs card from one of the headphones events of the K13 R2R, 2300mW is lower power than other amps, but it is R2R and fully balanced this time round so be good to see what sort of level it drives certain headphones.

Like the K15, linear power supply is optional, the K11 R2R does slightly benefit from a linear PSU, so will be interesting to see if the same applies here.

Honestly, I was and still having the same crisis lol, what convinced me was this graph, but it might come back to bite me in the bum.

I have the EW300, and I like them, if a little darker than the Waner 2. So instead of going half way in between to the Pure, I went to the Hexa while retaining the mid and treble.

Show me anything that needs more than 2.3 watts that isn't a speaker :D
The k11 is a fully balanced design from end to end at least for the headphone outputs. The big things I see for this are the built in peq and Bluetooth and hopefully that the amp is more transparent than the k11. Im not sure if they've confirmed if the dac is the same or a new better design than the k11.

Well the DX5 II was unable to drive the Susvara very loud and that has more power :p

That supposedly has 4.3 watts into 64ohm and just like the he6se hifiman recommends 2w to reach its peak spl with it only needing 51mW for 100db, if you had issues with volume then either you are deaf, the amp is faulty or it's user error and you didn't have it in high gain :D.
