Is this the unraveling of CyclingMikey?

Didnt know all of you guys were fine with acts of vigilantism.
Great to know I can commit criminal damage when I see someone doing something wrong.

Thats not the home run you're thinking of.
Evidence of phone users causing said deaths being higher in urban? Rural is another topic I didnt think about but again is not being covered by Mikey. He wont bother doing this to farmers, I cant imagine why...
Meh, that wasn’t what you asked me for. You’re moving the goalposts now…

Also I doubt that would be as trivially easy to google.

Also, as a cyclist myself, and a car user.

As a cyclist, i feel he gives us a bad name
It’s funny how we as cyclists have to worry about other cyclists “giving us a bad name” but drivers don’t seem to be at all troubled by idiot car drivers.

Far less of us, much easier to label us with the same brush.

Tax dodging pains in the ass, that shouldn't be on roads that are built exclusively for motor vehicles.

Because theres not at least 10 different UK dash cam channels available on youtube with numerous of them being reported week in, week out. Numerous car users reporting others.
What a silly comment.

Love how you all ignore the criminal damage comment as well.
So I am justified in causing criminal damage in the pursuit of someone following the law? Good to know.

Don't you know, road taxer payees have right to squish hundreds of cyclists, reverse to squish them again, because they pay £100 a year road tax and cyclists don't.

Ironically the footwear which causes the most falling off bikes is the type specifically made for cycling. Flip flops are probably safer.

100%, my first bad accident was because I couldn't get my shoe out of the cleat quick enough and dislocated my shoulder.

My worst was a Nurse hitting me side on and threw me across a road in front of 6 Paramedics and 2 Coppers having a break.
One of the Coppers said I was lucky not to be wearing cleats because I would have gone under the car and not thrown.
Ironically only a week earlier a copper pulled me over to ask a question and then asked me if I had ever tried not cycling in cleats because he came out of cleats for short distances and found there was zero difference so I tried it and he was correct.
If he hadn't pulled me over I could have been dead a week later.

Or if you had cleats, you'd be slightly faster, therefore 50 yards up the road and wouldn't been involved in the accident. :D

As a road user, terrible road users are the problem.

Car, bike, quad, horse, all can be terrible.

I got tailgated this morning by a Vauxhall Mokka. Couldn't see anything in my rear mirror and had to be much gentler with braking.

In the video, the driver is in the wrong and will prosecuted for various driving offences. Mikey should also be prosecuted for pushing his bike at the car.

Yeah, and what gets the most comments on those videos? Yeah, cyclists. One single clip of a cyclist doing something silly will often get more comments than the rest of the clips despite many of them showing people doing ridiculously dangerous things in cars.

No, there was zero difference in my speed or anything, the cleats were total BS.
On a straight road cycling for miles on a Sunday morning I get, cycling 4.5 miles to work stopping and starting all the time does absolutely nothing for efficiency.
In fact it was easier to just put my foot down instead of messing about with cleats.

So you would be slower with cleats because it takes you 1 second to clip in. Therefore on the day of the crash you would have been 50' behind, therefore not involved in the crash

:D

Cycling on the roads sounds horrendous(in the UK at least), hats off to you lot for doing it.

It's honestly not that bad. But only takes one idiot to change your life forever. As said previously, impatience and the 'I must get in front of the cyclist' attitude is what causes issues.

Most people are very tolerant, and patient.

Should also add, the reason why cyclists are often so animated when issues arise is simply because it's just silly little incidents that could be easily avoided. And the equivalent damage/injury for each person involved is completely different.

Have you seen the video taken by a bystander? If anything it shows Mikey as the one using his bike as a weapon

Starts around 2:50

As an online expert I would suggest that looks more like a position taken when trying to pull something back, rather than throw forward, with what appears to be a slight push at the end.
