That's disappointing, are they reviewing demo units? Some reviews are in.
In essence. The G5 chip is pretty lame. Next to no improvements in battery life or heat management (how is that even possible?) and the cameras are the same as last which which is the same as the year before that.
Google. WTAF. This is how you celebrate 10 years of Pixel?
It's youtubers who've been given the phone a couple of weeks ago...That's disappointing, are they reviewing demo units?
I'm hoping for a massive upgrade in battery life!!
Well it's definitely still a thing. Day one patchesI don't buy this pre release software excuse. They know when the reviews are coming out so they'd better perform by then.
They could have just stuck a large silicon carbon battery in. 6k would have done. This is why they loaded up the reveal with lots of celebs . First generation of a new processor was probably going to be disappointing , second generation i.e. g6 will probably see big improvements.
My mind was made up when running the Google comparison tool, this is a Pixel 9.5 Pro XL
Yup. Coming from a Pixel 8 Pro or above is a hard sell.Still tempted as my Xiaomi 12T (non pro) is getting long in the tooth so I'm sure the 10 Pro or XL will be a decent step up?!
Which has been a pretty common thing for people to say since the Pixel line came about with it's flagship prices and yet we keep buying them because in real world use they are to a lot of people much better phones than the paper specs suggest.![]()
Google Pixel 10 Pro XL hands-on review
Another year, another Pixel, and this time there is a distinct feeling of déjà vu in the air. We have with us today the new Pixel 10 Pro XL, and we can't...www.gsmarena.com
Overall, the Pixel 10 Pro XL comes across as a good smartphone. But for the asking price, good simply isn't good enough.
I do think people get very obsessive about specs in the discussions on these phones.Which has been a pretty common thing for people to say since the Pixel line came about with it's flagship prices and yet we keep buying them because in real world use they are to a lot of people much better phones than the paper specs suggest.
