I had 900 before, so pretty much zero noticeable difference beyond much quicker downloading large ISO files/Steam updates etc. Wouldn't have opted for it, but worked out cheaper than I was paying before.I didn’t realise BTOpenreach offered speeds above 900mbs. The fibre has been run where I live and the checker says “available to order soon” so I’m hoping that changes soon. How does it compare to the speeds you had before?

I can remember the exact day, 4th October 2000.Yeah, similar here. I'm wondering how I can confirm exactly when, but I know that where I lived in 2001 we had half meg ADSL.
Was going to ask if that was Virgin or not. Those speeds are mega. How times have changed.
Just checked the OpenReach site, apparently they’re developing full fibre in my area at the moment, one to watch.
