Is it possible to have 2 audio outputs at the same time?

Probably a long shot but,

I have Sound Blaster X external sound card.

Win 11 with 2 screens.

My grand daughter is here and she loves Mickey Mouse Club House, which is on screen 1 using speakers plugged into the sound card.

I would like to watch the news on screen 2 using my head phones, is this possible?
 
If you are on Windows 11 (possibly also 10) you can go into Volume Mixer by right clicking on the sound icon near the clock. when you expand each app producing sound you can choose the output device for it
 
Though not a common feature some sound cards can create 2 output devices reusing a jack though I don't recall the SB X having it. If any of your monitors have a headphones socket they probably can be used as a separate audio device.

While you can select different output devices you might find some apps don't like it if using a different device to what they are configure for and/or the Windows default device but other applications you can configure to use a specific device.
 
I use Steel Series Sonar for that set up.

You have 5 (?) channels to select. I put my 'games' channel onto my headphones but I use the 'media' channel, where I'd put Chrome/VLC and allow that to go over my laptops speakers.

Though not as simple as it should be
Think I unhid hidden devices in sound settings then used
the stereo mixer to
Create the second output

Insider preview builds are gradually rolling out
Shared audio feature in windows 11
Which will finally make this simple to do in windows by
Clicking sound icon in taskbar and selecting 2 devices/outputs
Though not arrived for me yet
But looking forward to testing this feature It's definitely
Long overdue

I use a sound blaster Z and onboard sound at the same time, have done for a long time. Just need to set the output you want to use in the software you use.

It's a phased rollout by the looks of it
Not every insider always gets every new feature
All at the same time
Annoyingly I still dont have it yet
As its actually a new feature that really interests me

The steleseries software junglist mentioned also works
Though I didn't find it very intuitive to use
But it did work in the end
Though neither is my using stereo mixer a simple solution Either
For the average person

Have been using it to output from one app on my monitor speakers and then another app to my headset.

I normally use just one side of my headset and can listen to zoom calls from the monitor.
